The month of September 2005 was a very busy month for President Bush after Katrina came on land at the Gulf coast and damaged the area. We see President Bush and First Lady Laura visiting New Orleans and other affected areas in Louisiana and Mississippi to comfort the victims of the hurricane and bring aid
The country lost Chief Justice William Renquist who passed away on September 3, 2005
President Bush nominated Judge Roberts to become the next Chief Supreme Court Justice. On September 29th Justice Roberts was sworn in as the 20th? Supreme Court Chief Justice.
President Bush remembered 9/11 heroes at a Medal of Valor ceremony. He also met with several foreign leaders and addressed the Useless Nations
For the quote of the month I have chosen President Bushs Remarks which he gave at the National Day of Prayer and Remembrance Service on September 16, 2005

Thank you so much for these wonderful pictures! How I LOVE that couple! They have such compassion and class!
Despite some of things he did as POTUS, I would gladly vote for him again, especially over this motley bunch that makes up the current GOP field.
Patty .. thank you SO much for taking the time to find
and post the photos of this most wonderful, graceful,
classy couple, who are always so giving, caring and compassionate.
DFW .. we here at the Dose LOVE, admire and honor Pres. Bush always for ALL he has shown and proven HE IS:
character, integrity, decency, humanity, compassion, relentless allegiance to uphold the dignity of the Office, abiding love of country, promoting and supporting the sanctity of all life, grace and good humor under the most brutal media and opposition attacks, always honoring and supporting our brave troops, pursuing freedom and help globally for the oppressed and suffering, among many other qualities and policies .. and
MOST SACRED AND IMPORTANT: his never ending pursuit, 24/7 after 9/11, of the MOST fundamental and vital Presidential duty: our safety!
There are no ‘despites’ here.
oh my... these pix add new meaning to TGIF!
wonderful sight.
Love this man & his family
thanks Patty for your diligence in finding these, posting & pinging
super smooch!
Patty, I can’t thank you enough for posting all these lovely pictures of our great President and First Lady Laura. They have so much love to give to everyone and we can see it in this couple and their sweet daughters. What important work they are doing!
Many, many thanks to you!
Pattyvita, once again, thank you for all of the pictures of President and Mrs. Bush. Starwise and LUVW expressed, so well, my sentiments.....I can’t say it any better. I am so grateful to all of you who help keep us informed of the good done by President and Mrs. Bush. The pictures, past and present, make me smile at a time when the current government gives me little to smile about.
And, I agree......there’s no ‘despite’ and I would ABSOLUTELY vote for him again!
God Bless!
To bad the media can’t show some of these...THANKS!!
Appreciate all of your kind comments so far! Wow! What a blast to see the Bushes out traveling the globe and giving us the opportunity to share their most heartfelt and touching moments on camera. It’s so reminiscent of the “good ol’days” before the Obamas took over and turned everything to hell!
This is how a classy “First Family” is supposed to behave! The Bushes were born to be great leaders in their own right, putting country over politics, serving to help others and keeping their egos in check!

Secret service dudes dont stand out too much, do they?

love all the bright colors & smiling faces. The Bush family is happy to be there and is making it quality time and visit === not just a photo op like we currently get from POTUS
thanks Patty
Thank you for finding these awesome pics they are all savers
And just imagine the lunatics from Amnesty International called to have this great man arrested for “war crimes”
