Great photos. Thanks for posting
.....kinda says it all doesn't it? :)
(Again!!)
Yes, it does. They’re still SO sweet together!
Yeah, I know what you mean. We all wish GWB was back in the WH and be still be the Commander in Chief to our great military. I wish we could turn magically turn back time and go back to that glorious era when at least we knew our country was safe and protected in good hands!
You’re both welcome! Just trying to do my part to keep you informed of what our President is up to!
I FELT safe...even as the terrorists were trying to bring us down, because I knew that GW would NEVER let that happen!
I miss her!
Did you see where Lauren Bush got married? I’m surprised no one has noticed! Yeah, she married Ralph Lauren’s son David Lauren. Funny, she marries a man w/last name the same as her first name! The article says that she’ll go by Lauren Bush Lauren.
They had a really nice, old-fashioned, western-themed wedding. They were married in Colorado on a ranch (I think it’s owned by her new father-in-law), and they both wore outfits w/an old fashioned western look. George W. Bush, Laura, and the twins were there, as well as some other family members. The older Bushs weren’t able to come, because they couldn’t take the high altitude health-wise. The wedding was mentioned in a British newspaper. (I wonder what happened w/our newspapers? hmmm....)
President and Laura Bush were in their Midland hometown yesterday to dedicate a tennis court center in their namesake:

And finally, please read this great op-ed piece written by a Canadian who makes a passionate case as to why history will vindicate Pres. Bush. It is very well-written and eloquent; something that even some so-called conservatives here in the US wouldnt even to dare to write anything positive about Bushs legacy!
There is much more that can and will be credited to George W. Bush for his two terms
No way will we let the media distort their leadership record.
May God continue to bless this wonderful man and his family.
Something to smile about for a few minutes!
Loved your tribute Ohio.
I’m so grateful that I was able to attend the Inaugural in 2005 and see our President and Laura. What memories....
Forgot to mention that I’m also grateful that I was able to shake our W’s hand at a rally in Pa. in 2000 on Laura’s birthday. Wonderful memories....
Make no mistake about it. This is real compassion from a real man. There's nothing phony about his act of kindness!
Amen. It’s all the media’s and the liberal Left’s fault for smearing and destroying a good man’s reputation and the public at large still think he’s the worst president ever.
It may take years and a lot of soul searching to reverse the lies and misperception of his record. But I still have faith that Pres. Bush will be vindicated eventually and he’ll be remembered for his strong and decisive leadership. I’m glad he and Laura are happy and at peace now.
You’re welcome oldteen! Glad to hear that!

George W. Bush to Raise Cancer Awareness in Africa
By Jamie Stengle Associated Press
Former President George W. Bush will travel to Africa next month to raise awareness about cervical and breast cancer, an effort he calls a "natural extension" of a program launched during his presidency that helps fight AIDS on the continent.
Bush, former first lady Laura Bush and officials with the George W. Bush Institute are heading to Tanzania, Zambia and Ethiopia from Dec. 1 through Dec. 5, where they'll visit clinics and meet with governmental and health care leaders.
"We believe it's in our nation's interest to deal with disease and set priorities and save lives," Bush told The Associated Press.
That had to be incredible, baseballmom! What a wonderful experience for you to see OUR President and First Lady dancing at their second Inaugural Ball!
(And you're welcome for the Anniversary Tribute. It's kind of a tradition, you know? :)
