Democratic Sen. Barbara Boxer and her Republican opponent Carly Fiorina will square off Wednesday night in the only debate scheduled so far in a race that polls show is a toss up between the two women.
The hour-long event at St. Mary’s College in Moraga begins at 7 p.m. It will be televised on CBS affiliates up and down the state, including on KTTV in Los Angeles. The debate is being sponsored by the San Francisco Chronicle and KQED public radio and will be streamed live on both sponsors’ web sites. C-Span is also televising the forum.

I thought Fiorina would be a wuss in this debate, but she is kicking Boxer’s ASS!

Fiorina knows her figures specific, Boxer lost that question by a mile.

I think this was planned. The Socialists are hoping she’ll take the bait, and have a “don’t call me Carla” moment.

Yeah she didn’t slam it I’d give her 7 out of 10. Good points but Boxer is vulnerable on the current budget. All GOP voted against it. GOP was united she needs to take advantage of that. Boxer said she was with Clinton and balanced the budget, then said with Bush they lost $1 Trillion... the reply is simply that Obama created a $1.5 Trillion deficit this year alone! and that is 3 times more than any single year under Bush.
And this Moderator is still a jerk.
The questioners are partisan hacks and the moderator is a partisan hack who is annoying to boot.

You don’t spend 8 years at the head of a corporation like HP without being able to debate. Fiorina is a BUSINESS PERSON who knows how to handle tough questions and make budgets and make hard decisions.
Boxer hasn’t worked an honest hour in her life.

I dont think Babs has an Ivy League degree. I do think she is brighter than Patty Murray.
The moderator, Randy Shandobil, is a local political expert for KTVU which is based in Oakland/SF and he’s a big time lefty.
He’s demanding Fiorina give “Yes or No” answers while allowing Boxer to filibuster and obfuscate.
I’m no big fan of the RINO Fiorina, but anyone would be a 1000% improvement over Barbara “Bouncer” (Remember all those checks she bounced back in the 80’s?)
Boxer has done nothing for California.
Fiorina will try to create positive jobs creation atmosphere in California.
It’s tough being a conservative in the Bay Area. I understand the politics of trying to attract the center, it’s just horrifying watching it be done.
