We started hearing about Murkowski’s request for an NRSC lawyer either Thursday or Friday. Fortunately Joe is a lawyer, and a lot of people have the al franken “recounts til he won” fiasco on their minds. If she messes with the military votes....she better just leave the state.
Joe and the head of the Libertarian Party were on the radio with Glen Biegel, conservative talk show host, on Friday, I think. The LP already has a candidate and they would really have to compromise their party if they let Murkowski in, as well as Lisa would have to change a bunch of her stated stands.
Earlier Joe was on saying, and I missing the who, someone was calling absentee ballot requesters and asking who they voted for....Glen, and Joe, jumped on it with both feet, saying the ONLY reason to ask that was to watch for who answered Joe Miller and shortstop their ballots. The first reaction was for anyone called, say “I voted for Lisa Murkowski”. After Glen calmed down a bit, and after a caller said she would answer. “None of your business....count my ballot and find out”, that seemed to be a good answer.
I really hope this exposure causes her to see that light and give it up. I think I heard that 88% of the money she raised was outside Alaska. What did her donors buy?
That's completely messed up. If I was called, I'd ask for a name and for whom they work, as I would feel my confidentiality had been breached.
Thank you for your most enlightening comments, Kathy in Alaksa!
88% of her money from out of state donors! Likely, from K Street and big money people. She’s an incumbent, ya know.
Well, Joe Miller will have a lot of out-of-state-donors too. Small donors, like me. The money he managed to raised fell far short of Lisa’s, but he won anyway and he’s going to win officially once the absentees are counted.
Gee... that sounds like Jaun McLame, his campaign was paid for by "Friends of Jaun McLame", they were all EAST COAST Capitol Belt Way types.
