One wonders why CBS would "commission" a crowd estimate of Beck's rally. While their numbers-challenged stooges were there, did they tote up Sharpton's numbers, as well?

This picture is not a snapshot- It’s time-lapse photography. It looks like a large crowd when it was only a few people moving around over a period of time. It’s actually easy to spot if you can see the blurry tree off to the upper left- The one by the Grassy Knoll!

I'll bet there was no trouble at this rally and there was not a spec of trash on the grounds when everyone left. I have been at work all day so I've seen nothing of this rally but I'm betting that the type of people at this rally are not the types to leave trash behind. And if a few people accidentally leave something behind, others will pick it up. They will leave the place cleaner that what it was when they arrived.

The local news here ran the two events as an equal side-by-side, never mentioning the crowd numbers or showing a shot of the crowd.

Back in 1996 we at FR had a March for Justice to Impeach Clinton (hint: he was). CNN lied about our numbers, and claimed a counter-counter rally held to support Bubba was larger. Of course, it wasn’t. But that was one of the first times I saw with my own eyes what liars the media could be. And I haven’t looked back since. LOL

The point of the pictures is to show UK readers how America is overrun with hordes of reactionary lunatics - in their minds the larger the rally the worse America is.

The American media's narrative is that only a few cranks would actually come out for such a rally.

Bingo! I lived in the UK. Jerry Springer is VERY popular over there. You can only imagine the comments I received. I was in a maternity ward after out child was born where the mother of a new mother next to me heard my accent and said to her: “Watch it love. Them Yanks are crazy and might steal your baby. You’d better check the security.”
