One wonders why CBS would "commission" a crowd estimate of Beck's rally. While their numbers-challenged stooges were there, did they tote up Sharpton's numbers, as well?

The local news here ran the two events as an equal side-by-side, never mentioning the crowd numbers or showing a shot of the crowd.

I read one article that said that Beck's crowd was predominantly white. It featured the Sharpton rally quite a bit in the article . . . but no mention of the color predominance there.

"The speaker list was diverse, including African Americans, Latinos and Native Americans; Jews and Christians; clergymen, military veterans and sports stars, including Albert Pujols of the St. Louis Cardinals. The crowd, however, was overwhelmingly white."
