FrogDad and I have been in DC since Monday. We've been to The Mall twice,so far. The set is being built, including two large arches with "Restoring Honor" over them.

They were putting up scaffolding down the Mall and hanging big speakers and spots for Jumbotrons.

We took a Moonlight bus tour last night, almost everyone we spoke to was in town for the Rally. One couple, from Texas, said that almost their whole plane was bound for the rally!

Our tour guide was conservative (surprise!) and got cheers and applause for his comments.

A guard at the rally site (last night) said that if you want to be down front, you should probably plan to be there around 5 AM. We don't intend to be there that early, our transpportation (the Metro), doesn't start running until 7 on Saturdays.

Will post some pictures tonight, headed to Mount Vernon this AM and the National Archives after.

Hannity Freedom Concert is in San Diego tomorrow, I believe, and there is an Impeach Obama rally planned near the Midway ship at the SD harbor nearby.

Hopefully impromptu rallies will take place all around the country!!!

My husband and I were planning to be there, but had to cancel our hotel and back out for medical reasons last week.

I’ll have this site and fox news on all day tomorrow and my prayers and thought are with you all. I so wish we could be there!

This is my first FR post (long time lurker). I am going down to Rockville (from PA) late this afternoon with my two daughters and one of their friends. We are spending the night in a hotel and taking the Metro into DC first thing in the morning. Any pointers are appreciated!
