I still would like to know what time the rally starts.
Here's all the relevant information from
Glenn Becks Restoring Honor site. It says 10 am to 1 pm, 8/28/10.

Hotels in Washington are almost sold out. Used a service to get mine and they said there are hardly any rooms left. Sounds like the media counts crowds the same way they count poll numbers

This will be a fun thread to check in on today through tomorrow (Saturday). It looks like we’ll have lots of pictures, on-the-scene reporting, etc. C-Span will be doing live coverage tomorrow from start to finish, though there appears to be some confusion about what time that’s starting. I’ve read both 7AM EST and 10AM EST. From current reports, it looks like somewhere around a million participants, give or take a few hundred thousand :-)

Do you have a phone cam (or regular cam) that you can take and post photos here of prep work and early arrivers staking out spots?
Thanks in advance.

I know my kids and even my wife can’t see how big this is but on Sunday I am sure their view will change.

Don’t even think about the site going down.
No site crashing, and that IMO includes the crowd that trashes every thread with their anti “fill in your religeon” lengthy multi colored assinine cut and paste crap.
I think I will take out some of the fresh strawberries and bluberries that I froze from this season and make some Vanilla/Fruit American Ice Cream Sundaes, topped with dark Chocolate Syrup. (any excuse for a treat but this is a pretty good one)

Funny how the same people who say they see no problem with the mosque near ground zero, are outraged by grass-root Americans showing up for one day at the Lincoln Memorial.Excellent point and bears repeating! I may steal that!

Listening to Glenn Beck’s radio show this morning he said the park people are expecting around 500,000 people based on certain criteria.
