While JD respects the AZ voters. I cannot. They deserve everything that they get.
Dave, as I said to another Freeper a few hours ago, I am on the other side of the country and the *only* thing I had heard about the Arizona primary was from Free Republic and people who were actively working against McCain. With no family, friends or interest in Arizona proper, every second of my life has been spent dealing with the insane markets on Wall Street this summer, not following a local primary in a state thousands of miles away from my home. To be honest, business comes first and since I don’t live near there, I didn’t give a damn.
After I posted that message, I wanted to pull up articles about it on the Bloomberg terminal and it took about 2 seconds for me to do a face palm realizing how stupid it sounded. It is duly retracted for sheer stupidity!
Yeah, I need to get my life back. Sorry about that =(
I believe you are right about that.Anything to get rid of him. He does a tremendous amount of damage to the conservative cause because the Dems play him like a fiddle.
I am a Palin supporter. I believe she supported Mccain so she could call in a few access favors to get into the good old boy Country Club Republican network, when the time comes.
I disagree with her support of Mccain. It is a startegic mistake, andMccain will never give her a leg up into the pubbie national country club net work. She is goinig to have. to fight them, mmost if them RINOS.
Palin has just made a very bitter strategic blunder, unless I am missing something. As a supporter I freely admit it. How that plays out for 2012 remains to be seen.
I salute your ‘candor’ (pun intended) and commend you for your honesty. It is true that McCain used her, but tragically, she allowed herself to be used.
YEs, this is interesting about Srah letting McCain use her.
Of course maybe he owes her a lot of campaign money. Maybe its in trade for her presidential run.
But you can’t rule out McCain running for the Republican presidential nomination again, even after he engineered a loss which will destroy our country if not stopped, he may still exercise the old boy net to keep all other better candidates out. The man is poison. For that reason I would vote dem, rather than for him , if I lived in Arizaona, just to make sure the presidential candidate field is not again usuroped by the idiot and his country club GOP running dogs.
Obama would love to run against McCain again, it was a cakewalk, with McCain being the “gentleman” when the gloves should have been off.The dems are even now working so that Mccain secures the Republican nomination. They voted for him in this prinary big time.
not again occupied by this elitest RINO
” Unfortunately, in this new era of personality over substance, all it takes are a few dozen winks, a bunch of “you betchas”, and juvenile utterances about ‘Mama Grizzlies’ or some other similar claptrap, and the masses, even allegedly conservative masses, faint dead away in orgasmic bliss.
And so dies true conservatism. “

I'm with you on that.
Thats what happens when people don’t have the intellect to strengthen their arument. They resort to childish devices
such as threats, namecalling, and posting pictures of kitties, lightning and knife blades.
People in AZ have turned the word “self-contradiction” into an art. I think they are mostly just plain ol’ liberals if you scratch them under the surface. Many of them have come from CA and even MI and WI.
I am beginning to think too that the “invincible” McPain will run for President again in 2012. And if primary voters in VA, SC, NH, etc. are as dumb as those in AZ, he could win again. One thing for sure, he will NOT be endorsing Palin in 2012. Sorry to tell you, Sarah.
