Urgent Prayer request [Sad Update at #257]

Granddaughter Grace Elizabeth was brought to us on July 13, just a couple of weeks early....she was a bit 'sluggish' regarding suckling instincts, etc., so she was held in the Sacramento hospital for a few days.

After a week at home, her weight dropped and the listlessness worsened, so she's been re-hospitalized since last Monday......the staff Neuro suspects some seizure activity, and his diagnosis will be restudied this coming Monday. Requesting Prayer Warrior activists to kick it in on Grace's behalf.

Baby Grace is gravely ill....as it turns out, although her brain and body are fully and properly developed, the brain has got major 'electrical' problems and is misfiring in all the wrong ways.

Prognosis - Granddaughter won't survive beyond infancy; were she to do so she would never mentally develop beyond that of a six month old child.

My son and his wife at this point are working on getting the baby weaned off of certain medical devices so that they can take her home and do some serious loving - allowing God and nature to take whatever course is so deemed. 02 and a feeding tube will be in the mix. This isn't a "Terri thing" by any means.

I got the first prayer request for this precious darling last week, and have been praying for her daily (and nightly) since. Every time I close my eyes, I see that sweet baby - and pray again for her well-being.

I will continue in prayer, and am also asking for blessings for her family. ((((HUGS))))
