Granddaughter Grace Elizabeth was brought to us on July 13, just a couple of weeks early....she was a bit 'sluggish' regarding suckling instincts, etc., so she was held in the Sacramento hospital for a few days.
After a week at home, her weight dropped and the listlessness worsened, so she's been re-hospitalized since last Monday......the staff Neuro suspects some seizure activity, and his diagnosis will be restudied this coming Monday. Requesting Prayer Warrior activists to kick it in on Grace's behalf.
Regards, Bat
Googleize "EEME"** for an idea of what's going on with granddaughter.
Wifey and I made the drive up to Sacramento over the weekend. The baby is more beautiful in person than in the pics - 'perfect' to the eye.....but the seizures continue. She does not cry and when she opens her eyes she doesn't blink at all (they don't appear dry, but this was worrisome to me).

..And a pic of Grace being loved on....

God, please be with that sweet thing.
What a sweet angel. She will leave her mark on this world. God be kind to her family.
Praying for Grace.
Precious Lord Jesus, we ask on our knees for You to take precious angel Grace Elizabeth in Your arms and comfort her, heal her. We ask because You’ve said that we can. Comfort her family, guide the caretakers who are trying to help her. In Your holy Name we pray. Amen
I saw the update and will continue to pray!
My goodness sake, what a beautiful little baby she is!!!!
Pinging both Logan & Trussell’s list...for more prayer, and a proud Papa and Beautiful Baby Pic!!!
What a precious child. Prayers continue...
I swear by that hospital....they did so much for my wife as she fought cancer...and they do much good for children.
More prayers going up for this beautiful child and for all of your family.
BTTT
Prayers continue
God grant them peace and the joy they can share with this beautiful little girl, however long this sorry earth is blessed with her presence.
They're up in Sacramento, and well plugged into a large network of neurologists, etc.....as well, they are hooking up with a research team from St. Louis. This will be for study purposes only, however, as this "EEME" condition is considered hopeless. It's very complicated, and fortunately for others, extremely rare.
I’m so sorry; prayers for you family in this difficult time. Grace is a beautiful little angel.
Thank you for the update and the precious picture.
Prayers continue....
I looked at that abstract --condition sounds very complicated and rather rare as you say.
Medical knowledge is such a valuable commodity.
I went thru that with my wife ...her cancer generated schizophrenia behavior...which is also rare...finally handled with medication.
Continued prayers for baby Grace and loved ones.
