In a poll this month by the Pew Research Center, 46 percent of seniors reported that they would be voting for the Republican on their congressional ballot this fall, compared with 43 percent for the Democrat. The most recent Gallup data showed an even starker difference: Fifty-three percent of seniors said they would vote for a Republican House candidate and 38 percent said they would opt for the Democrat.

Aren’t these the same Democrats who cut medicare by $500 billion to fund Obamacare?
If the Republicans can’t hold this group then they’re too stupid to live.
The Dems are trying to scare the seniors that Republicans will take away their social security, while the Dems are the ones slashing Medicare and ration care to seniors.
Baby boomers know what’s coming. We care about our health care. WE ain’t goin’ gentle into that bad night either.
And if the Republicans can’t win THIS argument, they are too stupid to live.
Yes, good luck with courting the Seniors after cutting the Medicare payments to Doctors that they visit. I imagine that many of these Doctors recently stopped taking Medicare patients. The Dems sold out the Seniors, but are too stupid to see that they might be peeved about it.
Hopefully they lost ALL seniors support, D, R and in between.
It’s the ACORNS we have to watch. They play dirty with seniors minds.
I think we’ll be seeing a lot of Barry’s Corn Nuts going into nursing homes to “assist the elderly with voting”.
Kill anyone over the age of 30.
I guess the imminent death-panels have the seasoned-citizens spooked.
Seniors spell trouble for dems—you betcha!
Checking the graveyards for solid votes that can’t be tracked?

Swindling our seniors: AARP shills for White House on Obamacare
The title of this article is perfect because that is exactly what is happening.
Once Medicare instituted their Medicare Advantage program, AARP started losing members as seniors didn't need supplemental insurance. When Obama's friend and contributor, Barry Rand took over, AARP became the spokesman for Obamacare against the wishes of members of AARP who did not want their Medicare changed.
Incoming AARP CEO A. Barry Rand contributed $8,900 to President Obama's campaign committees, federal records show.Rand, a retired senior executive at Xerox Corp., Avis Group and Equitant Inc. and the current chairman of Howard University's board of trustees, gave the maximum $4,600 to Obama's election campaign and an additional $4,300 to the Obama Victory Fund, a joint fundraising entity of Obama and the Democratic National Committee.
Now Obama wants to end the popular 'Medicare Advantage Plan' that is saving money to make seniors go back to earlier plans where AARP was a popular and needed supplemental plan which cost $190+ a month. Looks to us like AARP is getting a return on their support for Obamacare by Obama tanking Medicare Advantage Plans in order to make AARP more money once again.
How many others are going to be getting more of the American taxpayer dollars due to Obama paying back his friends like AARP."
Now, if only the has-been Republicans support reformist, pro-Constitution Republicans who won in primaries....it'll all be good.
What frosts me is that there are some discounts, for example some hotel chains, that only give a senior discount to AARP members.
