Conservative superstar Ann Coulter today was dropped as a keynote speaker for WND's "Taking America Back National Conference" next month because of her plan to address an event titled "HOMOCON" sponsored by the homosexual Republican group GOProud that promotes same-sex marriage and military service for open homosexuals.
Joseph Farah, editor and chief executive officer of WND, said the decision was a gut-wrenching one for his team because of their fondness for Coulter as both a person and writer-speaker.
"Ultimately, as a matter of principle, it would not make sense for us to have Ann speak to a conference about 'taking America back' when she clearly does not recognize that the ideals to be espoused there simply do not include the radical and very 'unconservative' agenda represented by GOProud," said Farah. "The drift of theconservative movement to a brand of materialistic libertarianism is one of the main reasons we planned this conference from the beginning."
Asked by Farah why she was speaking to GOProud, Coulter said: "They hired me to give a speech, so I'm giving a speech. I do it all the time."

Guess it is about the money for lots of stars who tout conservatism.
Ya think?
Ann’s reply to the wimp Farah:
In an email to the Daily Caller, Coulter ripped into WND editor Joseph Farah, calling him a “publicity whore” and blasting him for releasing private emails that she’d sent him. “He’s a swine for using my private emails politely answering him. why would he do such a despicable thing? ... for PUBLICITY,” she wrote. She also said that Farah “could give two sh-ts about the the conservative movement — as demonstrated by his promotion of the birther nonsense.”
The government is devouring our liberties, draining our nation’s wealth, preventing prosperity and holding political correctness in higher priority than our security...but that’s NOTHING compared to what’s going on between consenting adults in their bedrooms! It would be a crime for us conservatives to accept support from those who don’t agree with each and every one of our pet social causes.
I won’t insult your intelligence with a sarcasm tag.
I don’t blame WND on this one.
“as demonstrated by his promotion of the birther nonsense.
Oh really?
Well, just where IS the birth certificate, Ann?
Yeah! shut up Ann Coulter! (shameless /s)
Other conservative commentators do just as good or better than her in demolishing the left. Everything AnnCoulter says is bathed in a hateful, acid tongue.
I would hate to be married to someone like that. You know she would hit below the belt all the time.
Just my observations.
Well, I am curious what Ann would say. Would it be a “we agree to disagree” kind of speech? What WND drops or picks up is of very little concern to me. If someone of the stature of the Family Research Council blacklisted Ann it would be of more import, but I believe they would wait to see what Ann actually said to GOProud at Homocon.
Of course after seeing a looker like Ann, some of the Homoconners might not be so Confident that they really are homos....
Glad to see more conservatives dropping the anti-gay thing. It’s a pointless non-issue and there are way bigger fish to fry.
Many (such as I) quite respectfully agree to disagree with Ann that the issues she calls “birther” are of no consequence to Obama’s legitimacy, although WND may be faulted for sensationalizing certain questionable takes on the issues.
I’m not that stupid. Copy and paste the title into the fr search
the other article doesn’t come up
wahhhhhhhhhh
What do you mean?
If you mean ignoring the burgeoning “gay marriage” movement (and its predecessor, the “civil union” movement) that is a mistake. Moral conservatism cannot be stuffed in its own little box, to be taken or left.
Try ‘Coulter’ on your search...
