Friday August 13, 2010First Rush, then Coulter, and Now Glenn Beck ... Whats Happening?
Commentary by John-Henry Westen OReilly asked Beck, Do you believe that gay marriage is a threat to the country in any way? Beck replied, No, I don't, adding sarcastically, Will the gays come and get us? The Glenn Beck revelation comes on the heels of two other startling announcements by conservative celebrity pundits in the last couple of weeks. Earlier this week it was announced that conservative pundit Ann Coulter would headline a fundraiser for the homosexual activist group within the Republican Party, GOProud. And on July 29, although his position had been revealed before, talk radio host Rush Limbaugh again came out in favor of homosexual civil unions, while being opposed to same-sex marriage. To be fair, it must be pointed out that Beck said he was looking at the big picture and promoting faith, the answer to all such things. Moreover, he added that he was okay with gay marriage with a caveat. As long as we are not going down the road of Canada, where it now is a problem for churches to have free speech. If they can still say, hey, we oppose it, he said. But even to have suggested, as strongly as he did, that he was not opposed to gay marriage is detrimental and demonstrates a small picture approach. Beck seems like a good guy. Hes thoughtful. Hes right on many matters in the culture war. For instance, when OReilly followed up and asked if Beck thought abortion threatened the United States, Beck replied dramatically in the affirmative. Abortion is killing, its killing, youre killing someone, he said. So I thought itd be worth it to calmly and persuasively share concerns with Beck on his approach. He may not read my email, but Im sure if enough pro-family folks were to get the message to him, hed reconsider his outlook.

“America needs a Christian revival, or she will perish.”
In our home, every day we pray for revival in America. We certainly don’t deserve rescue by God considering how we’ve stood quietly and let things get this bad, but God can show mercy. Maybe He will.
I find it amusing and telling that Beck preaches against atheistic socialism and buys into quite a few goals of it. It just shows you, he really is not in the least visionary, nor authentic. If you want to list to someone and follow someone, listen to our true mother - the mother that brings children unto Christ.
Cat got their tongue?
Maybe He will, but this wailing about the Republican Party is getting old.
The GOP does not appear to be part of the Lord's plan.
“If it neither breaks my leg nor picks my pocket, what difference is it to me?”
It does pick our pockets when our tax dollars are spent on treating AIDS patients and cleaning up the psychological and financial messes created by non-traditional families.
Wasn’t me.
*snicker*
But they did get awful quiet all of a sudden.
The homosexual agenda is all about enforcing the “celebration” of homosexual behavior and group identity on the rest of us. Anyone who doesn’t see that the homsoexual agenda is ALL ABOUT BIG GOVERNMENT has some kind of blinders on or has remained incredibly ill-informed. And for a regular reader of FR, it’s hard to believe anyone could not know this.
The reality is much different than their emotion based points. They are not equal in morality. They are quite degenerate. That is not to say all gays are, there are still discreet people. But the degenerates are the “face” of their movement.
The problem is not that churches are tax exempt. It’s the onerous and unconstitutional taxes in the first place, including disgusting property taxes.
I hope it was a cat.
GOProud actually seems like a pretty good group. It was specifically formed in overt, and decidedly fervent, opposition to the phony "Log Cabin Republicans". The principle founders of GOProud exposed LCR repeatedly supporting Democrats, and partisan Democrat policies, and betraying Republican principles of limited government, fiscal restraint, free enterprise and etc.
Even for those conservatives that differ with gays on the social issues, why reject their support on nearly every other aspect of movement conservatism?
Probably more correct to say that the degens ARE the movement.
But waaaaay too many people are willfully ignorant of it, stuffing their ears and shouting “la-la-la-la-laaa” so they don’t have to listen to or face the reality.
*shrugs*
We’ll be waiting for them, with a dose of reality at hand when they come back.
zot
Yeah. Their agenda has a bigger list of "give me's" than most groups.
good
Hear, hear! You got that right.

A busy thread this Saturday morning! The homosexual agenda apologists and promoters are out in full force (no pun intended...) on this thread. They are energized by Judge Vaughn's spitting in the face of hundreds of thousands (or was it millions, probably) of CA voters who yet again said "NO!!!" to the definition of marriage being changed by sexual perverts and their assistants. Vaughn being a homosexual btw.
Anyway, this thread is only tengentally about "gay" marriage; it is about the importance or non-importance of normalizing homosexual behavior and most important - the establishment of "gay people" as a separate identity, with special protection under the law, that everyone else must bow to and accomodate. The right to flaunt "gayness" trumps religious freedom, freedom of speech and freedom of association. It is tyranny of the worst sort. It is ALL ABOUT BIG GOVERNMENT because without NANNY STATE HUGE GOVERMENT the "gay" agenda would still be in the closet, where it belongs.
The real shame right now is how many "conservatives" are now cheerleaders for the "gay" agenda, many right here on this thread!
We can't put our faith in man..
..we put our faith in God, and God alone.
He will never disappoint, never change, never forsake us.
I think it’s time to go back to this tagline...
