Relatively few people in the United States know of the horrible tragedies that are now being visited upon the people of Mexico by a war between drug cartels, and the government of Mexico. The US media does not report the full story, and the Government of Mexico has a press black out on much of what is happening in Mexico concerning the war between the Mexican Government, and the drug cartels who war among themselves.
To complicate matters the drug gangs often wear federal uniforms while performing assaults on their victims.
One anonymous web site operates a blog which receives posts, photographs, and videos of some of the horrors being comitted.
The person operating the site has literally blown the lid off of the press black out in Mexico, and the press non coverage in America. He is a computer security expert who exercises all of his skill to stay anonymous. It is an heroic effort. He works at the risk of his own life to get the news out to the world.
Americans should no longer remain ignorant of what is happening in Mexico, which in some areas is in the throes of a civil war.It is not much wonder that Texas Governor Rick Perry and Arizona Gvernor Jan Brewer have asked for federal support to secure the Southern border. The violence you see on this site spills over into the United States. The US federal government follows the policy that it is"business as usual", when in fact it is far from it.
Why?
The US public would become further resistant to all questions of illegal alien amnesty, once this knowledge is disseminated about what is being imported into our nation along with those who come to the US illegally from Mexico. They bring with them the cycle of violence , revenge and death, as well as gang members who fight each other incessantly.
So I draw the attention of Free Republic Members to this site, and caution that it is not for the weak of heart or those with weak stomachs. The site graphicaly portrays raw, unedited photos and videos of gun battle results, torture and execution. The site serves as a record of what is actually happening in Mexico.
If one wishes, the url page references can be entered into whatever web based translator one wishes, to have each page's text rendered into English.
May this site be of benefit to those who wish to do research into the terrible things that happen South of our border, and may the US public learn the truth.
In this way this knowledge may aid us so we may eventually secure our Southern border, and then perhaps we as a nation can be of assistance to bring this tragedy in Mexico to an end.Such violence must not be allowed to be imported into the United States.
I think “The Bite” is merely another symptom of socializm, and Mexico, with over 100 years under that corrupt and deadly system, is a textbook case. Where socializm exists, the rule of law is choked. Regulations are so pervasive that if one were to try to follow all the laws, absolutely NOTHING would get done. Civil servants are paid in power, not money. “The Bite” is the only way to get by.
I am surprised that the libbers don’t RECOGNIZE the violence, in order that they can start banging the drum for amnesty on political grounds rather than economic - and that would actually be a better reason.
I think the ruling class is wholly owned, either by the slammies, the narcos, or both. It’s the only thing that explains all this. But where are the payments? Numbered Swiss bank accounts? This would be too big not to get out, IMO.
LOL! There are no two premises in my statements but part and parcel of the same argument.
Legalizing drugs will not stop violence nor stop the flow of money to the drug cartels. The Mexican Cartels have an infrastructure already in place and they will use it to set up a black market. Legalization doesn’t work the way dopers hope it would.
Thus, the ONLY way to stop the use of addicting drugs in the U.S.A. is to execute drug traffickers and throw users into prison and force them through rehab while there. (If the treatment doesn’t take, the person keeps getting the same treatment until it does take hold.)
Legalization will not stop the flow of money and the only way to stop all this craziness is to diminish or eliminate the demand for addictive drugs.
Got it now?
Dude. This is our problem. It’s here. I could almost agree with you if we were talking the Stan or even Colombia. But this is in our back yard, and it’s in the house.
Outside the US, I wouldn’t do a thing. Once a stable supply is developed within the US, the problem outside the US will take care of itself: the prices will drop and the minimal profits won’t be worth the risk. That’s exactly what happened when Prohibition was repealed. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
Well , the inside the united states outside the united states is not an accurate model. We have noi inside ooutside on the issue, yet.The sources inside the USA would have to defend their prpduction with force of arms. Which is the point I have been trying to politely get through to you.It was tried in Mexico. Those involved in the government initiative were assassinated, many along with their entire families. Your ideas might work if we were prepared for that fight here. But our government is not even prepared to secure the border, let along conduct a war against a drug army with military ordnance from Mexican armories. So government productuon would require fortified and guarded facilities, and the personnel involved would be targets, along with their extended families, when in fact the government will not even build a border fence after the Congress appropriated the funds for some of it.The government likes the illegal drug trade status quo.
But lets call a truce for now, this thread is about revealing the type of violence which is happening along and on our borders, and it should stay dedicated to that.
The first part of a solution is to bring an end to the amnesty for illegal aliens movement, for very good reason as revealed in the El Blog del Narco.
I got it. You somehow think the WosDs had decreased drug illegal drug manufacturing and distribution. Reality differs with you.
Once Prohibition was repealed, that all went away. The homicide rate was cut in half in a few years. Legitimate manufacturers weren't fighting with each other -- they were focused on making and distributing a quality product.
If the drug lords tried to come over the border from Mexico to interfere, they would get a lot more than they bargained for.
The site is down.
They are already here. They had years to plan and implement thanks to traitors like mcStain and his poodle lindsay... and every single democommie!
If the drug lords tried to come over the border from Mexico to interfere, they would get a lot more than they bargained for. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
Enough already. This is not the prohibition era, the Mexican Drug gangs are already here in force. They occupy and control the federal lands 80 miles south of Phoenix, Arizona.Thats why the federal parks people prevent members of the public from going there. They have major lines of supply of drugs , and ordinance which extends from there through a corridor into Mexico. Obama does not want them interfered with, which is why he went to court to prevent the Government of Arizona from enforcing federal law. He wants them supplied, armed and dangerous. And they are. Why?
And they do exactly what they want, in the manner and style as revealed in the El Blog Del Narco. Now if you can’t see that is what we are dealing with on the ground, I have nothing more I can possibly say to you. Any socio economic changes or solutons you desribe are predicated on securing the border and getting rid of the drug warlords and their soldiers. So whats your real point?
Its beyond wool gathering to think that legalizing drugs will cause them to disappear, when the entire government of Mexico, and the executive branch of our own government can’t even interdict their movements into our country across what should not be an open border. Why not?We have the resources? Who is fooling who? Too many in the Dem party benefit from the status quo, even now to interfere ,and you can wave your flag all you want at them. Good luck.
You could legalize every drug in existence, produce it, and market it, and the shooting , torture and executions would still go on.Its not about product, its about power. And now that the warlords have it, nothing will keep them from execising it except force majeur. Any sense of humanity and decency demands that it be stopped. And I take it now that you would not do anything except legalize drugs and ruin America as China was during its Opium dissolution.
Go try to collect scalps elsewhere, you will not have mine.I am not at all open to leftist liberalism of any kind on the issue.Thats what has created so much suffering in Mexico in the first place, and its on its way here. I intend to do what I can to prevent it. You just want to out sell it, and the human cost would be unbearable, just another socialist manipulative plan IMHO.
Go over to Phoenix , turn left and drive 80 miles South, go there and sell your plan, and take a few whacks across your back with a two by four. Maybe that will enlighten you if the vids on the El blog de Narco cannot.
Try clicking on the home page link at the top of the thread text, the vid link will not allow you to enter the site through the video index page links others have put up, although it originally would when this thread first started.
The home page linked worked fine for me just seconds ago, If you want to see the vid index, click “indices” on the header of the home page.Warning, the vids are extremely graphic, I was reduced to tears, and I am harder than most.
If that doesn’t work your ISP may be censoring the site.To check that go to an images search engine and search “Blog del Narco”. If the photos from the site come up on the thumbnail image page, you can click on a photo to display it, and then if you have a blank page, your ISP is censoring the site.
Problem is that they are bringing the drug war along with them. We cannot solve their problems for them, agreed. We need to end the illegal alien amnesty initiative.
Thanks for the Ping Tiger. I guess I am all through for the day, the article was in the side bar for about 16 hours, and so that means thoudands have seen it.It will remain a good link for those intersted in research and checking on future developments.
I think I know where Obama plans to get his private army, they are set up on federal land south of Arizona and a few in other places,in Texas and New Mexico. They are hooking up with the Islmofascists ( Hezbollah probably)and will soon strike at America’s heartland IMHO.The red states of Obama’s enmity.Thats what purely strategic analysis says anyway. All those guys who were in the training camps we surveyed last winter, are hooking up with Los Mejicanos? Possibly.
Thats part of the October surprise.
If that happens it would make it a lot harder for the MSM to ignore. Things would get very interesting.
You are right there for sure!
On this issue the MSM looks like Baghdad Bob.
(There are no problems on the border, everything is fine........while the Drug Lords set up shop on federal lands and get ready to mobilize? They must love Obama!)
Soon we wll have”reporters embedded” with the Zeta Freedom Fighters, reporting to you in our confrontation with racist Arizona?
Seems only a couple of steps away.
No, I haven’t looked at the videos and I’m not going to look at them. That kind of graphic violence usually stays in my mind for a while and it distracts me from important work that I need to do right now in my business. I’ve already have one major unplanned distraction this week. But I have no doubt that all kinds of horrific violence is going on in Mexico. I worked with a (legal) Mexican immigrant, one of the staunchest supporters of America that I ever met, and he told me some stories of the kind of violence and physical abuse that goes on in Mexico and he was definitely telling the truth.
I didn’t say exactly what I was thinking before. What I meant to say is that Obama is not manufacturing a phony crisis in order to justify some other kind of action, in the way that he and BP dragged their feet on capping the leaking well in the Gulf in order to turn it into a bigger mess and advance the cause of the Green movement. This is a real crisis at the border, not a phony manufactured crisis. It’s a slow-motion train wreck that’s been building for decades and it’s getting worse all the time. It’s only a matter of time before terrorists from the ME cross the border and launch a massive attack against American civilians. Very unfortunately, that is probably what will have to happen to generate the political pressure that finally forces the Executive Branch to secure the Mexican border.
Dead on.
