Leading gay blogger John Aravosis, writing today at his Americablog about White House spokesman Robert Gibbs attacking inside the beltway progressive critics of Barack Obama, like Aravosis, let slip that he performed surreptitious "dirty work" for Obama at the behest of his 2008 presidential campaign:
Joe and I are upset with Obama, and we, for example, raised nearly $43,000 for the man, According to the White House, our money now doesn't count. Great, would they like to give it back? I for one, would love the $1000 back that I personally donated to the Obama campaign. Joe gave even more. I suspect a lot of our readers wouldn't mind their contributions back too, since apparently they're not appreciated.
Then there's all that work we did for the campaign, all the dirty work they asked us to do - and we did it, gladly, and quietly - none of that counted either, apparently.
Presumably, the "Joe" who Aravosis mentions his Americablog's deputy editor Joe Sudbay.
Aravosis does not detail the "dirty work" he and "Joe" did for the Obama campaign, however he has earned a reputation for despicable, life destroying behavior against poltical opponents.
Aravosis gained prominence earlier this decade for outing closeted homosexuals who did not follow the liberal homosexual agenda.

“Taqqiya” is a technique of deception practiced by believing Muslims in order to advance the cause of Islam. It is part of the Jihad strategy based on deceiving unbelievers by any means. Thus exercising “taqqiya” is praised as pious Islamic behavior.
According to Shari’a law, any child born of a Muslim father is Muslim for life, unless he formally converts to another religion. In that case he becomes a “murtad”, a crime that must be punished by death.
The only exception are those who are obliged to convert by way of deception (”taqqiya”) on behalf of a mission for the cause of Islam.
Therefore, it is perfectly within the Muslim tradition that Muslims around the world would overwhelmingly see Obama’s conversion to Christianity not as a case of “irtidad” (apostasy), but as a case of “taqqiya” (deception), where Obama pretends to have become a Christian in order to advance the cause of Islam by way of his political career in the U.S.

If Obama were still truly a Muslim believer or sympathizer who aspires to the highest office in the U.S., his outwardly conversion to Christianity would fully conform to the principle of “taqqiya”.
In fact as a “Trojan Horse” candidate, he would be specifically expected to disguise himself as such. In this context, Muslim leaders would not only fully understand Obama’s outwardly conversion, but would also consider him a hero of Islam for doing so in the cause of Islam.
It must be noted that the sincerity of Obama’s conversion to Christianity can never be proven, and the possibility that he remains a sympathizer if not true believer to the Islamic cause who is practicing the technique of “taqqiya”, is still a real risk that should not be discounted.
In this context, one should also not overlook the close relationship and mutual admiration between Pastor Wright, Obama’s spiritual mentor, and Louis Farrakhan, leader of the Black Muslim movement. Obama’s intimate relationship with Chicago businessman Antoine (”Tony) Rezko, a Syrian-national - and quite possibly an Arab government agent - prominent in Chicago Arab-American and Black-Muslim movements also speaks volumes. Rezko, a key financial backer of Obama’s early career, was for many years a business partner of Jabir Herbert Muhammad, son of the late Nation of Islam leader Elijah Muhammad:

Taqqiya
it’s an arabic word.
taqqiya is the concept of doublespeak. kind of like a double entendre. but with taqqiya, it is specifically the skill of double speaking to infidels to deceive them. to get them to drop their guard. to bring about the circumstances allowing you to take advantage of them.

Aravosis is a lawyer and worked on Capitol Hill as a foreign policy adviser for Ted Stevens, a Republican senator in the late 1980s and early 1990s before becoming a Democrat.
