Leading gay blogger John Aravosis, writing today at his Americablog about White House spokesman Robert Gibbs attacking inside the beltway progressive critics of Barack Obama, like Aravosis, let slip that he performed surreptitious "dirty work" for Obama at the behest of his 2008 presidential campaign:
Joe and I are upset with Obama, and we, for example, raised nearly $43,000 for the man, According to the White House, our money now doesn't count. Great, would they like to give it back? I for one, would love the $1000 back that I personally donated to the Obama campaign. Joe gave even more. I suspect a lot of our readers wouldn't mind their contributions back too, since apparently they're not appreciated.
Then there's all that work we did for the campaign, all the dirty work they asked us to do - and we did it, gladly, and quietly - none of that counted either, apparently.
Presumably, the "Joe" who Aravosis mentions his Americablog's deputy editor Joe Sudbay.
Aravosis does not detail the "dirty work" he and "Joe" did for the Obama campaign, however he has earned a reputation for despicable, life destroying behavior against poltical opponents.
Aravosis gained prominence earlier this decade for outing closeted homosexuals who did not follow the liberal homosexual agenda.
This should be included in pre-November Republican campaign ads as what democrats are all about. Corrupt and deceitful "change" (and massive US debt) was the byproduct of the Obama election. Democrat elitists have NO allegiance or loyalty to anyone except themselves and pushing through their agenda while dismantling the US Constitution.
Stimulus II will be a bonanza to Democrats to replenish their election coffers. Input from the heartland of America concerning the slush-funds being accumulated and wasted while America suffers is NOT a democrat priority.
one has to ask, how many violations of campaign laws are being exposed, here?
How do you know he’s a “top”? Could be a bottom...
$43,000? Chump change.
Going to have to do better than that if you want admittance to the Ruling Class there, Mr. Aravosis.
Just a coincidence or part of the "change" Obama promised?
Dissidents (or potential witnesses) dispatched, reminiscent of more than one other infamous former world leaders.
Good question.
Wow. Sinclair’s a lucky, lucky man that he went public first.
Hey guys. I know all this stuff. Spent years in the ME.
Homosexuality is everywhere over there and young boys are routinely used for sexual purposes.
However, the official public stance on homosexuality is that it is a death sentence. And they usually execute a few people a year for homosexual behavior. They do not want to wipe out homosexuality. They just want to make sure it stays on the down low.
Obama can never publicly support homosexuality for this reason. He would become a pariah in the eyes of his fellow Muslims.
No details. Just whining.
Well said, Red.
Wonder if the White House will try to put a gag order on this....
PING!
He's with the far left on ALL the other social issues except this one.
That is exactly what I mean.
‘Don’t ask’, is another example.
Yep...even though I think Obama is himself quite gay!
This treatment of Aravosis by the administration makes me wonder if and when the gay community will "out" Obama the way they have other uncooperative politicians.

WH spokesman: I was just out of control and winging it when I criticized the Democratic party base
by John Aravosis (DC) on 8/10/2010 11:51:00 AM
Huh?
The White House spokesman would now have us believe that he wasn’t in full control of his faculties when he did an interview with the Hill in which he blasted the Democratic base, and suggested we all needed to take a drug test. Really? He couldn’t control himself? Then what is he doing remaining in the job as White House press secretary?
(snip)
Conservatives like me have been used by the Republican political machine my friend.
Now you know how it feels.
Hope you got a screen shot. Looks like he is taking it down right now. It had loaded and then went blue while I was reading it.
This actually makes Obama look not as bad because they are saying you can’t buy influence. But really he’s saying $43K isn’t enough money to buy influence.
Never mind. It’s back up now. That was wierd. Reading the comments was fun...lol. They are pissed off big time.
