As President Obama sinks in the polls, Democrats and liberal pundits inevitably are searching for a scapegoat. The most likely victim appears to be gaffe-prone Vice President Joe Biden, who has become the focus of speculation that Secretary of State Hillary Clinton just might replace him on the 2012 Democratic ticket.
Former Virginia Gov. Doug Wilder, his state's first African-American governor, touched off the controversy. Writing at Politico.com last week, Mr. Wilder argued that Mr. Biden's tenure has been undistinguished and chock full of "too many YouTube moments." He charged that Mr. Biden "has continued to undermine what little confidence the public may have had in him."....

This is what I predicted. Notice he’s been with the girls lately...the view, Oprah...That’s Hillary’s old love fest. When will he be on Ellen’s show given that he believes marriage is between a man and a woman.
>>>The Veep rarely matters much.
In Hillray’s case, it would. If she becomes Veep, Barry0 likely won’t see the end of his term, one way or another... an “Arkansas suicide” or that whole birther thing will (finally??) bite him in the arse just before election time.
Yeah ... thats it! Its Biden who is causing the Presidents number to decline.
She is playing fourth fiddle now.
I always thought the Clintons had enough to throw Obama under the bus, but the 2008 campaign just wasn't the right time. It was too risky, and the Clinton's pretty much prefer sure things.
Article’s premise is that Joe Biden is such a disaster, this would be the way to fix the Biden problem and increase support for the administration.
If this were to happen, and I were the Republicans in DC I would hammer incessantly that Barack Obama is the sole person responsible for picking the disastrous Joe Biden.
I know, it’s obvious and a no-brainer, but these people get a free media ride and the country is only supposed to care about - talk about - whatever topic the administration decides to feature at any given moment.
No, a thousand times no. Man up or woman up and start doing some topical agenda setting, you DC turkeys!
I don’t think Manchelle Obama is going to appreciate yet another better looking cracker woman in her white hut.
VP? Oh he11 NO!
Exactly! My prediction is that Hillary will resign between Election Day and Thanksgiving and will go on one of her “listening tours” in January. She fully intends to be the nominee.
I wouldn’t be surprised if the party decided to run Hillary.
I can’t imagine the aging, sagging, joweled Hillary! wanting to be 0bama’s #2. She either wants the whole pie or none of it.
That’s like relieving the Captain of the Titantic after it hit the iceberg.
For Hillary, this is the only way to get the Top Spot. Her husband's associates will take care of everything else.
... Hillary will be out of politics before her term ends as Sec of State and get 300k a day on the lecture circuit.
“Yeah ... thats it! Its Biden who is causing the Presidents number to decline.”
This was exactly my reaction. “Yeah, that’s the ticket. If only Obama had a DECENT VP, his approval ratings would be soaring!” These guys are so delusional, but at some point, even they have to run out of people to blame and start realizing The One was never as great as he or anyone else thought he was.
Obama doesn’t want someone who will stab him in the back sitting in the VP slot. That’s why he picked Joe Biden. Every time people get mad at Obama, they think, “Well, Biden is even worse.” He isn’t—nothing could be worse—but I’ve often heard people say that.
OTOH, the VP doesn’t matter much in a President’s first term, but is more important in the second, because they are often groomed to run for president after the 8 years are up.
That was a problem when Bush left, because Cheney was too old and ill to make a possible successor. Bush failed to groom anyone good to take his place.
Arkancide?
“The Veep rarely matters much.”
True, but this Veep would be a Clinton. If I were Zero, I would have extra Secret Service staff around at all times.
Obambi may start talking to HER about this, if it becomes apparent she will challenge him for the top spot.
GREAT IDEA. Take the most ambitious (and frustrated) woman on Earth for his VP. He’d be safer dining every night with Lucrezia Borgia.
Have better company, too.
I wonder how long he’d last?
