WASHINGTON– State Department officials on Monday confirmed Feisal Abdul Rauf, the Imam of the so-called Ground Zero Mosque, will soon be going on a trip of the Middle East and the U.S. government will be picking up the tab.
The planned construction of a mosque near Ground Zero in New York City has set off a contentious national debate over religious freedom in the U.S., drawing impassioned opposition from some families of 9/11 victims.
Rauf has emerged as a controversial figure because of his refusal to acknowledge Hamas as a terrorist organization, which is how the U.S. government classifies the group. The imam also has been quoted as saying U.S. foreign policy was in part responsible for the 9/11 attacks.
“He is a distinguished Muslim cleric,” said State Department Spokesman P.J. Crowley. “We do have a program whereby, through our Educational and Cultural Affairs Bureau here at the State Department, we send people from Muslim communities here in this country around the world to help people overseas understand our society and the role of religion within our society.”
(Isn't that nice? THe U.S. now acts as a taxi cab and picks up the bill to shuttle our enemy around at their beck and call!

But we also need to hammer home the point everyday that Islam is a sham. It is a political ideology masquerading as a religion. And as an ideology opposed to our Constitutional guarantees of republican form of government and equal rights for all citizens regardless of sex, it must be stripped of all 1st Amendment protections.
And that means beginning at the local level to impose real estate taxes on all muslim "religious" property.
If they do end up building this damn thing, then I hope Maurice Bessinger opens one of his bar-b-que joints right next to it.
All these pro-Muslim moves are with his full knowledge and approval.

I suspect that his RECORD RAISING internetPresidential run was funded by our ENEMIES who are Obama’s friends. It is payback time. Plus Obama is a Muslim. His formative years were spend in an Islamic Madrass school. THIS is the time to form a child's outlook and “faith”. Why do you think his family wasn't around for his birthday? Muslims don't celebrate birthdays. He has EVERY SINGLE ATTRIBUTE of being a Muslim.
Freedom of religion does NOT include a “religion” that is contrary to our government, way of life and an enemy. Back in the 1800’s polygamy was denied by the United States Supreme Court. This was a “religious belief” by Mormons. At one time we had the balls to call them on it and STOP that practice. Now we hide “honor killings” under domestic violence.

So female genital mutilation would be a violation also. Islam makes female genital mutiliation a practice under their religion. That certainly is harmful and babrabric and yet we WINK AT IT. It goes on and on how Islam violently violates our “religious principles”.

Ah, but they have TAX EXCEMPTION because they are a “religion”. So we will fund traffic problems etc. the religion of Islam is ALL RADICAL. Some are cafeteria style Muslims but the Koran is ANTI U.S. be definition.
