Don’t You Want to Go to a Gay Rally Headlining Ann Coulter?(self-professed ‘right-wing Judy Garland)
New York Magazine ^ | 8/6/10 | Chris Rovzar

Posted on 08/07/2010 7:21:25 PM PDT by nickcarraway

The five-month-old Republican gay group GOProud wanted to create a big splash with its first convention, Homocon 2010 (that is a real name that we did not make up). And to do so, they lined up a whopper of a headliner. Says chairman Christopher Barron:

"The gay left has done their best to take all the fun out of politics, with their endless list of boycotts and protests. Homocon is going to be our annual effort to counter the ‘no fun police’ on the left. I can’t think of any conservative more fun to headline our inaugural party then the self-professed ‘right-wing Judy Garland’ - Ann Coulter. I can promise you, Homocon 2010 will be a hell of a lot more fun than chaining yourself to the White House fence."

Comparing Ann Coulter to Dorothy might strike you as a little odd, considering she throws around the word "faggot" in a derogatory way. (Someone, perhaps more aptly, compared her to the Wicked Witch of the West on this particular issue.) But somehow her presence is almost less offensive than the fact that Homocon's recruitment poster kinda calls all Democrats gay.

Anyone noticed there is quite a concerted effort on the party of Liberal Republicans (and Washington Beltway “Conservatives”) to push for the acceptance of homosexuality in 2010?

IT’S RATHER ODD..unless they are have an agenda to destroy “social conservatism” and have been lying (about their truely liberal feelingns) just so that they can force this upon the American public!~

Strange and wonderful things are happening to the American Political Landscape

I'm sorry, but accepting homosexuality is not a "wonderful thing" unless by wonderful you mean the return to the good old days of Sodom or the fall of the Roman empire (us)!

>>> Is there ANY one that Freepers like that they won’t trash and say they’re swearing off at the very first instance of non-100% agreement?

That the question has to be asked is its own answer.

It looks like they have 50 percent of the platform correct. Way more than the DNC.

I’d hate to see your other 998 replies.
For one thing , there is no “returning” to any other historical epoch-—history evolves logically in a different direction, whether you like it or not, and whether it interferes with your sense of ‘continuity’ or not.
For another thing, everything exists as it is, whether you ‘accept’ it or not.The world doesn’t stop dead in its tracks waiting for you to accept or deny its various realities. The role you seem
to want to play is to continue doing your part in polarizing this wedge issue, and ENSURING that the
‘Homosexual Agenda’ will continue on and continue to be as obnoxious to you as you need it to be. And don’t confuse the
‘Agenda’, the Gay Pride Parades, the activist judges, etc. etc. with ‘homosexuality’, or even the majority of folks
‘afflicted’ with that disease—they are largely running on parallel tracks—it’s you who’s agreed to do your part and politicize them.

Sorry but there is nothing new under the sun. Rome rotted from within. The US is becoming a modern day Rome.

I have known many gay men and women. I have a family memebr who is lesbian. For that reason and others I am 100% convinced it is genetic.

This is the type of even gay people need to support. Not ever gay person should be a knee-jerk democrap because they think that is the only party for them.

It would be nice if they also realized they elected a communist- and stopped being one-issue voters too

The ONLY thing that matters to the homosexual lobby is legalizing their aberrant behavior. See post 35.

OMG I have never read such dime-store drivel from a pretend sophistacate. You are neither a conservative nor a thinker. You are an apologist, so why would you troll on this site? Only a black heart could blame the homosexual “problem” on people who are against homosexuality. When you use phrases like “whether you like it or not”, it plainly explains that you clearly endorse the in-your-face tactics of homos. Our country is being ripped apart by people who don’t assimilate and melt into our society, but liberals like you think different people should be tribal, to further your beliefs of divisinveness. And maybe you think total corruption of our children’s innocence is good for society, but I digress.

And one more thing, since you are a liar and propogandist about homosexuality being a disease, scientists have proven more than a few times that THERE IS NO ‘GAY’ GENE. It is a choice in many different layers, so just stop with the lies. You should apologize to people who have real diseases for your idiotic comment.

Are you kidding? Read carefully. Seven out of ten are pure homosexual agenda crap. One of the remaining three is “urban revitalization” nonsense. That’s because most homosexuals live in cities and want their neighborhoods spiffed up, that’s just unconstitutional money crap.

So two of out ten aren’t crap.

Read it again, please.

Very clever (and very creepy) for you to address your reply
to me AND jimrob. ALmost like you’re some highschool hall monitor checking passes, or a snitch trying to get someone in trouble.
You’ll have to do better than a simple one or two sentence
reply to this issue. Grow up.

The US may be ‘rotting from within’, but it’s NOT because of the FACT of homosexuality, which I’d hoped was one of the points I tried to suggest, if not succesfully make.
Homosexuality has existed since the beginning of time in all cultures, EVERYWHERE on the globe. How those cultures deal with it is what makes the difference between them/
We already know how retrogade cultures as different as Communist Cuba, and the Islamic world, deal with homosexuality. You seem to be on the path to join them, with your own “American” version.
