We knew all about Obama before the election. We knew what he wanted to do and we knew how much he despised the freedoms we once held dear.
I have to laugh when authors and commentators base their anti-Obama works on the notion that we were fooled.
Millions of people were fooled. Hence the difference between Obama's 70% approval rating 18 months ago and his 45% rating now. Not everyone can see the reality behind the DNC Media's agitprop.
Some were fooled. My mother is a life long Republican who considers herself a ‘classical liberal’ - small gov’t, but socially liberal. She insisted Obama was a moderate. But she listened to CNN & watched The View & all of those voices were not telling the truth. And of course it made her feel really wonderful to vote for a black man, as if that really made a difference. Yes, it’s sad to say, but lots of folks were fooled. Or maybe they fooled themselves into believing O was something he wasn’t.
Sums it all up rather nicly...problem is, there are too many that fit in those categories and you can't fix stupid.
It's going to take at least two generations to turn this Country around, if it's even possible, and then there is the problem if surviving in the mean time.
“Anyone who believed Obama was a good choice for an American President was either willfully ignorant, brain dead, or a Marxist.”
.
Or so morally turpid that they thought that it would be ok if they got something for nothing at the expense of the country.

In August 2008, I read books by both Freddoso and Corsi, and between the two books on Obama, that was all I needed to know.
