“resign” = a political correct polite way of saying “fired”.
He is a good CEO but maybe not a good person. Compared to the Kennedys and most polictians - Hurd is probably an angel.
I worked for HP under Hurd.. I was layed off after 29 years 9 months - 87 days away from full retirement.. Didn’t get so much as a thank you..
Mark can kiss my a$$.. and, no, I will not hire him in the business I started..
Somebody who actually takes responsibility for his actions...must be one of those conservatives.
What was HP’s primary market when you started?
Weren’t you vested?
He was screwing a contractor and she (gender assumption on my part) was billing her time..
Hmmm. Getting paid while screwing the CEO. I think they have a name for that...
Sounds kinda like the lawyers who screw their clients when they bill their time.
I worked in pc’s.. notebooks in particular.. I’m down in Houston now.. that’s where the laid me off..
Why don’t these rich guys hire “high class” pros, pay them with $100 bills, and introduce themselves as “Biff”? They would save a lot of money.
Wadanidgit.
Oh, yeah, I got my retirement, my profit sharing, and my 401k.. but no healthcare..
That really doesn’t bug me..
It was the lack of a thank you for all those years of service.. and I did well.. I saved them more money than they ever paid me.. I’ve still got the patent plaques hanging on a wall..
Well, soon obamma will be paying for your healthcare.
I have an old Pavilion laptop with a P4. It was decent in its day. Now it’s used only to shell into the servers, and provide other IT related utility.
I don’t imagine HP was selling notebooks in the early 80s.
I have not been impressed with HP stuff, or to be more blunt, Sh!t, Basically he help HP sell more Sh!t then Dell, Obama will probably hire him as his next campaign manager.
in your dreams.. I’m paying for it... I guessing I’ll continue to doing so..
There was some bizzaro ones in the 80’s.. I worked for LID for a while (Multimeter R&D), then I worked in the calculator R&D (41c if you remember that).. Then notebooks.. both the HP side (Omnibooks) and then post merger..
I run a business now and I hire laid off HPeons in the 50 year plus age group.. We do pretty good..
(I go back to the 9825 if you want to google that, used to deal with ferrite core memory..)
