August was always the month, when President Bush went to his ranch in Crawford, but unlike the current resident of 1600 Pennsylvania Ave, President Bush worked during his vacation, as you can see in the photos
No comparison at all.
Indeed
Oh...how NICE it is to see these fresh pictures and pretend for a moment....W is still President.
THANKS for my moment of smiling and feeling like everything is going to be fine.
Thank you W for doing your part. Now...it's OUR TURN to help America.
Strength and Honor
I got a kick out of this! Pres. Bush said when Brian Kilmeade asked who wanted to start, Bush said: “How about You!”. That was cute!
Why am I using that word repeatedly?? Did anyone hear Mark Davis subbing for Rush Friday?
He was talking about President Bush, and he said, and I quote...."He is a MAGNIFICENT MAN."
Then he said that he and Laura were a "MAGNIFICENT couple," and then repeated the comment about the President again several times.
It almost brought tears to my eyes. Mark Davis has courage. Every conservative on the radio and on TV always adds a disclaimer about what they think President Bush did "wrong" if they dare compliment him, but here was a man who just said it outright.
IT'S ABOUT TIME! Finally someone in the media is catching up with US and recognizing the greatness of President Bush.
Sweet! :)
Magnificent! :D
wowosie. thank you pretty lady for all this work & posting these marveous pix of our guy.. what a man!
you had never been to the Dose before? when GWB was in office? or just since he was out?
I don’t get here often enough
hehe..........I thought so. ;)
Oh, no, Dolly. I was here every day when he was in office. I was just in a down cycle after Obama was elected and it was too painful to see the fine man we had lost, but the other day I came on a thread and really enjoyed the pictures and the posters, so I’ll probably be a regular now.
I think a lot of people are coming out of the coma and realizing what a great president we had in Bush.
THANK YOU so much for both the bookplate information and the golfing photos — I plan to request the former and enjoy the latter!!
There’s a reason I stream Mark Davis’ radio program (WBAP/Dallas) every morning at my office!!
He appreciates our MAGNIFICENT President almost as much as we do!
I'm just glad that there's at least one radio guy who isn't afraid to tell the truth about who President Bush really is.
There's a lot of cowards out there who still want to be "popular" instead of standing by this great man .
It's a pity. Davis is a breath of fresh air.
You're always at least one step ahead of the rest of us. :)
Look What I just found in our local news paper
101st Airborne Division veteran Heath Calhoun of Clarksville took part in a kickoff ceremony Friday for Patriot Golf Day Weekend with former President George W. Bush
They were joined in the ceremonial tee-off by Dan Rooney, founder of the Folds of Honor Foundation, and Jim Remy, PGA of America president at Ridgewood Country Club in Waco, Texas.
The four-day event, under way Sept. 3-6 at thousands of participating golf courses around the country, hopes to raise $2 million or more for scholarships for military families.
"I am honored to be chairman of Patriot Golf Day 2010 and for the opportunity to launch this special event this weekend," Bush said. "I greatly admire our vets and their families and the sacrifices they have made.
"This is a great way for citizens to contribute to a scholarship fund for children who have a lost a parent in combat or whose parent was severely wounded."
Patriot Golf Day Weekend 2010 is a national event where golfers are asked to donate a minimum of $1 in addition to their regular greens fees to raise money for scholarships for the families of military service members killed or catastrophically wounded in the line of duty. Participating courses can be found at www.patriotgolfday.com.
