August was always the month, when President Bush went to his ranch in Crawford, but unlike the current resident of 1600 Pennsylvania Ave, President Bush worked during his vacation, as you can see in the photos
STARWISE, I found in the archives a thread dated August 6th on the announcement of Mrs. Bush as a speaker. No mention then of MO attending too, it seems she was added to make her look patriotic.

Yes, I was on a really annoying Bush/Laura bashing thread and everybody was all, I can’t believe Laura would agree to appear with Michelle. Very disappointed in Laura and all that crapola.
I pointed out that Laura had been scheduled for a long time, months maybe and that Michelle had horned in making an attempt to seem like she cares about it.
Laura is far too classy to stalk off because Michelle was coming. She will remain elegant and courteous and it will be quite the contrast to Michelle.

I have some very bad news to share. DrDeb's Mom suffered a massive heart attack last week, and died. She had Alzheimer's and had been on vacation with Deb's Dad, visiting one of Deb's sisters.
She's not going to be around for a few days because of the funeral, but would very much appreciate your prayers.
These will be rough days, and I pray that the Lord will sustain her and her family as they go through this time of deep grief.
God be with you, my friend! We love you!

When I seen the Politico article I did a search to see if it had been posted, because I had a feeling that it would be nothing but a Laura Bush bashing thread. I was so disgusted that I left after reading several of the posts
