I haven’t been keeping up on Grayson but in the past, watching his initial inflammatory rhetoric, I got the impression that he is not crazy, he is playing to a complicit camera crew (MSM) and saying the things Democratic Underground wants him to say know that no one will challenge him, his poll numbers for his constituents will go up, and freaks like Garafaloe (Jeanine) will ‘brag’ about him. I think he gets money for his ‘performances’ and I didn’t (at least in the past) see the least hint of sincerity in him - it was like a bad Hollywood performance where the critics lament that the ‘star’ just ‘phoned it in’. There is no blowback for him - he becomes a raving hero to the left and the right was never going to vote for him anyway. The fact that he retains credibility to the MSM and to the left may even make the independents wonder if there is anything to his raves because some of them still trust the MSM and they wonder why Grayson still gets airtime if he is nuts.
I noticed that Democratic Undergound inhabitants sometimes steal FR post material and ‘make it their own’. For example, I recently saw a post on DEm Underground that mirrored a FR post about Dems making policy on their emotions. The Dem Underground poster just picked up FR text and modified it to say that Repubs vote based on their emotions.
I think Grayson’s charge is another example - Repubs say Obamacare includes death panels and Dems steal it and reply back that Repubs want people to die. It’s like a school yard out there with Dems having no respectable retort to policy rhetoric so they just pick up Repub objections and say them back to us as if we are the culprits knowing that the MSM will simply not fact check or report the truth. It would be interesting if the Dems ever decided to meet policy discussions with logic etc. but in the meantime - it means that Dems never develop the capacity to debate rationally and that’s useful in it’s own way. They can’t ‘dazzle with intellect’ so they emote and steal arguments and text from opposition.
