Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin said Sunday that Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer (R) has "the cojones" that President Obama "does not have" to take on illegal immigration. Appearing on "Fox News Sunday," Palin blasted Obama for suing Arizona to block the state's controversial new law without addressing "sanctuary cities" -- in which local law enforcement are prohibited from asking people about their immigration status.
The former governor said the president and congressional Democrats "are all wet" on plans to allow the Bush tax cuts for the wealthiest Americans to expire. "It's idiotic to think about increasing taxes at a time like this," Palin said. She added that her "palm isn't large enough" to write all her notes down and she proceeded to read prepared notes about tax policy from a sheet of paper.
Palin declined to address "fickle" polls showing that she remains unpopular with independents. "I don't blame people for not knowing what I stand for," Palin said. "If I believed everything I read in the media, I wouldn't like me either."

When a United States President fails to protect either Constitution or the nation, he must either step down or be impeached. He must let someone who will protect the nation and the constitution take his place. Fat chance this Marxist will ever leave........
the truth is spoken the problem is that we have republicans like Karl Rove saying that the comment was tasteless and many in the GOP have no balls what so ever.
The GOP had better get some balls as of right now it is just a handful of women who have the guts to say the truth and staying silent or being PC is playing into he far lefts agenda
At what point are these Jourolist propaganda whores in the Establishment Media finally going to wake up that it is this sort of mindless regurgitation of Democrat National Committee propaganda that makes them laughing stocks to average Americans?
The Bush tax cuts effected ALL Americans. To claim they only effected the "wealthiest Americans" is a out right lie.
“women who have the guts to say the truth ...”
IMO, it was still a distasteful way for Palin to get the point across.
OK, some of you may prefer another candidate or even feel that Palin is not presidential material, but you HAVE to agree with this, yes?
This needs to be the 2010/2012 slogan: ¡CAJONES!
Funny how certain Freepers never ever get upset when anyone on the Right is trashed in the most offensive terms.
Apparently the only time they get offended is when anyone on our side fights back against the DC Media slime machine.
Karl said that?
Jeez! And just when you think the GOP cannot become any more spineless than it already is...
Yeah God forbid the Republicans ever fight back.

I’m not suggesting Palin not fight back, just that she do it in a dignified manner.
There’s GOT to be a more intellectual way to say the man has no balls, but for the life of me I can’t think of it.
It is a perversion of the truth to be sure.
The tax cuts benefitted those who pay taxes (which the “poor” do not) and it benefitted those who pay the most taxes the most.
The tax cuts were JUST. But they did not benefit the non-taxpayer, ie, the democRat base.
I was a little surprised when I heard that come out of her mouth. I love Sarah (See my tagline), but, stuff like that makes people feel like she does not have the “Social Graces” to be President.

I prefer this to Ford/Carter/Dole style restraint.
Reagan was able to make his points without being coarse (usually), but we do have a more primitive body politic these days. Successful communication to this electorate I think requires that statements be blunt, short and memorable.
I preferred reading William F. Buckley in the old National Review, but both are gone. If we will ever see such days again, we must win the present trenchfight by any means which are effective.
If Sarah had said an equally rough comment in favor of illegal immigration, Rove would have praised her. Rove is all in for the illegals, and that is why he cried.
