Pinal County (Ariz.) Sheriff Paul Babeu is hopping mad at the federal government.
Babeu told CNSNews.com that rather than help law enforcement in Arizona stop the hundreds of thousands of people who come into the United States illegally, the federal government is targeting the state and its law enforcement personnel.
“What’s very troubling is the fact that at a time when we in law enforcement and our state need help from the federal government, instead of sending help they put up billboard-size signs warning our citizens to stay out of the desert in my county because of dangerous drug and human smuggling and weapons and bandits and all these other things and then, behind that, they drag us into court with the ACLU,” Babeu said.
The sheriff was referring to the law suits filed by the American Civil Liberties Union and the U.S. Department of Justice challenging the state’s new immigration law.
“So who has partnered with the ACLU?” Babeu said in a telephone interview with CNSNews.com. “It’s the president and (Attorney General) Eric Holder himself. And that’s simply outrageous.”

It is my reasoned conviction that we will look back in a few years (how many, ???) and identify the attack on Arizona by the Federal Government as the opening “shot” of the Second American Revolution.
This will not stand.

Very good idea. There ought to a massive convoy of truckers, motorcyclists, folks in r.v.’s, minivans, etc. heading into Arizona from all over the U.S. Show our support for our fellow Americans now under siege from foreign criminals who the feds have no interest in stopping.
I’m from Pennsylvania. I visited the Tucson area in 2000. When I signed for a rental car, the agent, seeing that I was from the other side of the country, warned me to be careful, that the area had the highest incidence of drivers running red lights of any place in the U.S. I was perplexed. Why would this be so? Americans where I was from respect traffic laws generally. Why would Tucson be any different? Then, as I drove around and saw all the Mexican license plates, I understood what she was talking about. Blatant lack of regard for our laws by people who were only visitors here. Yet they acted like they owned the place. Things must be even worse now.
What will happen is defunding in congress. And then Obamma will take it to court to force funding. Its going to get nastier than ever. While this is going on, SS will be going belly up. And as SS goes belly up, Obamma will be sending billions to other countries for charity.
Nothing but UGLY on the horizon. We dont have an American president and it shows.

Disagree. Compared to what we have in DC, a military coup, prosecution and punishment of those that have thwarted the Constitution, and wiping the slate clean for a new and legitimate election would be a breath of free air.
