Pinal County (Ariz.) Sheriff Paul Babeu is hopping mad at the federal government.
Babeu told CNSNews.com that rather than help law enforcement in Arizona stop the hundreds of thousands of people who come into the United States illegally, the federal government is targeting the state and its law enforcement personnel.
“What’s very troubling is the fact that at a time when we in law enforcement and our state need help from the federal government, instead of sending help they put up billboard-size signs warning our citizens to stay out of the desert in my county because of dangerous drug and human smuggling and weapons and bandits and all these other things and then, behind that, they drag us into court with the ACLU,” Babeu said.
The sheriff was referring to the law suits filed by the American Civil Liberties Union and the U.S. Department of Justice challenging the state’s new immigration law.
“So who has partnered with the ACLU?” Babeu said in a telephone interview with CNSNews.com. “It’s the president and (Attorney General) Eric Holder himself. And that’s simply outrageous.”

Yes. Always remember that there is no “Government” that is a monolith. It is made up of individual human beings who pull their pants on one leg at a time just like you and me. It seems that a horrific percentage of those people must be bought and paid for by the cartels - far more than the mafia used to buy government. But if it were true, the truth would out. The truth will do that.

This is why the Office of the Sheriff is so Important. They are constitutional Officers who have the ability to do as they see fit. They are not beholden upon any politicians or unions unless they themselves want it so.
They are elected and can be held accountable unlike Police Chiefs or Commissioners.
Also they are the absolute authority in their county and can secure it even against the federal government if they choose to. A strong moral Sheriff is a powerful entity and is our best weapon against corruption and our first line of defense against tyranny.
Educate people about it, hell you may have to even educate some sheriff’s .. but the power is theirs to protect the citizens of their county from this already.

American society is so heavily controlled, monitored, regulated now, folks don't even recognize freedom even if it slapped’em upside the head.
Few speak about constitutional values and principles, the majority think they are out of their minds.
This is because Americans have lost a large part of their freedoms over the last couple of decades.
This no longer a government of the people, for the people.
We now live under tyranny. An oligarchy of people drunk on power and money.
American citizens foolishly think we elect our leaders by casting a ballot when in reality, the election is largely decided before the ballots are cast.
The tree of liberty is thirsty.

Meanwhile, at the Arizona border, treat the invasion like what it is - one country invading a sovereign nation, with orders to react likewise.

A military coup would be a REALLY bad thing.
Better that we settle this at the ballot box and the soap box,
and if it becomes necessary to reach for the cartridge box,
the military standing down would be the best thing in the long run, letting the people take care of the problem.

Unfortunately, I no longer believe in the power of the ballot box. Although I DO believe that more than enough legitimate votes WILL be cast against the dems, I have no faith that the voting system will work. THere will be voter fraud on a grand scale. AFter all, what really matters is WHO COUNTS the votes!
Yes, when you hear of Princess Pelosi making comments like, “I’m not nervous at all!” you have to wonder if the fix isn’t already in. And we’ll get to see her “O” face again after all the votes are counted... and recounted... and recounted... until they win.

The sad thing is, the Government has been our enemy for many, many, years. Only recently has the majority of people woke up to this fact, caused by the tipping point that is known as Barack Hussein Obama and his minions.
I wholeheartedly concur with Sheriff Babeu.....the government continues on this path and all hell will break out before the 2012 presidential elections.....not going to be pretty or clean, bet. =.=
