Indeed. Susan Bolton is now a target. If the liberals can picket a person’s home (and scare the bejeezus out of his kids in the process), then it’s perfectly valid for us to picket Judge Bolton’s house, and her office, and her courtroom...

I’ll be anxiously waiting on Gov. Brewer’s reaction.
Hope she planned for such a ruling.
I’d love to see her hold a presser - on National TV - and tell the feds to eff off.

Which means they still need to show their drivers license, proof of insurance, etc.Great, all the legislature has to do is pass a law that says you can be arrested for driving a car without your drivers license and proof of insurance. Once arrested, they can check your immigration status.

And I completely agree with you. Willing to give it a chance but not expecting anything good to happen.

The other day I got pissed when “yet another thread” got locked up, my thought that the subject was too hot or maybe that there were too many obscenities or potentially threatening statements in the thread??
Turns out there were multiple FReepers posting the same thread at the same time.

Horrible analysis on Fox, saying most of the law WILL go into effect, but not making it clear what will be in effect and what wont. Constant rambling. The shell of the law will become law but without effect. It has no teeth.
To: Textide
Not sure. Depends on whether her state has limited her executive powers.
But still, as the governor, she could use her office as a bully pulpit and lay it on thick.
Deny the ruling and defy the regime.

Not just that, but when she walks into a room at a restaurant, someone should announce loudly that it’s “Bolton” and everyone should move their tables as far from her as possible (I’m sure she will be very popular with the busboys). She goes to church, then everyone needs to vacate the pews around her, she goes to the theater, move away. Make sure she knows that she’s not welcome here any longer.

"according to Rushbo, police may not question to determine immigration status, so basically, the law has no teeth."
I'm listening to Fox & that's not quite true!! They CAN ask about immigration status if they are ARRESTED - but not if they are stopped for a traffic violation, for example & are NOT arrested. If arrested - their legal status CAN be checked & if they are illegal, be turned over to ICE for deportation.
Now the state must ask the judge to reconsider her ruling first before sending an appeal to the court.

I believe that’s what this administration is asking for. Never let a good crisis go to waste. If you don’t have a crisis, then you create one.
They’re creating the perfect storm.
