Who better to teach Kate Gosselin's kids about Alaska than its most famous resident, Sarah Palin?
Gosselin and her eight children have traveled to Alaska to meet up with the self-proclaimed "hocky mom" for an episode of new TLC reality show, "Kate Plus 8," reported In Touch Weekly.
"Sarah, Kate and the kids will go camping," a source told the mag.
Palin's brother, a third-grade teacher, and father, a retired science teacher, will reportedly give hands-on natural history lesson to Gosselin's 9-year-old twins and 6-year-old sextuplets.
A mother of five herself, the former vice presidential candidate is said to be looking forward to the upcoming visit.
"She's excited because it will be fun and educational for the children," the source continued. "Sarah will even teach Kate how to avoid bears!"

Slow and lame.
Does that help you get to the bathroom in your Mom’s basement? Or does it take a crane? Everyone knows the Falconers are tooooooo fat to fly.
Now that was definitely one shark to many.
No thanks.
Don’t blame ya. It’s a link to your post.
Okay. Whatever. Nothing changes your “loser” status.
You can have the last word. You need it.
No, I actually like Sarah Palin. I just show her the respect she deserves.
As a homeschooler and also knowing people who know them personally, I think it is a safe bet that the Duggars are really are like that - although I’m sure that there are incidents that don’t make it onto camera.
A lot of people do not like the Duggars. Especially people who hate Christians practially gnash their teeth at the mention of them. The type of hatred of the secular left that follows the Duggars is violent- the secular progressives, especially the gay and green lobbys - they just can’t stand them.
Families like the Duggars are the most dangerous enemies of the SPs in America. Only individuals like Rush and Beck are more dangerous to what the SPs want.
I know a lot about the Duggar’s Christianity. I don’t follow that type personally, but I examined it at one time. Everyone I know who does that curriculum (yes it’s a homeschooling curriculum) is exactly like the Duggars.
It is a Christian teaching that emphasizes personal discipline, Godly behavior, submission to proper authority, and complete independence from worldly government and institutions (that’s why they homeschool, own family businesses, and have no debt). It’s a way of life.
The effort they expend to keep the state out of their life is a severe roadblock to leftists. The SPs cannot get a grip on these families. None of their usual tricks work.
The families depend on government for nothing, only on community. Needless to say, they are very conservative, and they ARE active in politics.
Just think! The Duggars by themselves will negate in voting at least ten liberal couples who have no children - Even if you don’t like them, that makes me smile. And remember, their numbers increase exponentially.
Saved that picture. Like it.
It’s just two shows trying to get cross over audiance from each other.
The kids are cute (except for Kate’s one bitchy older daughter), so it should IMO be fin to watch.
I trust neither.
They know that this is false but they are having a jolly good time with this....these are Palin Haters for sure....any so called conservatives that takes tabloid unnamed sources after the “numerous” false reporting by the MSM is a Palin hater
Ugh, I wish Sarah Palin wouldn’t provide Kate with any more publicity.
I’ve said before that putting Levi Johnson on the national stage was the dumbest move EVER...but I do believe this tops it.
wow....I wonder if McCain got her this gig?
LMBO
Excellent comment. I love the Duggars, even if sometimes Josh creeps me out. The rest of them are fantastic, and yes, I love that their votes cancel out a whole slew of lib families. Mwahahaha.
Josh is OK. My guess is he’s probably classic for a homeschooled child who is the oldest of a large family (TV family yet), a slightly different Christian doctrine, and a Dad who was a politician.
He’s probably been taught all his life to be able to defend what he believes. Every nosy parker in the world probably probed him for “family dirt”.
My boys were homeschooled and they always thought a little more like older men than kids - they were always amazed how other kids could have whole conversations about a CD or youtube vicedo when they were talking about buying equipment for a business or political problems.
Also, like I said, a lot of people don’t understand the Duggars are - I wouldn’t call them a cult, because their beliefs are orthodox - but they are definately a sect, like Amish or Catholics. They have a group of beliefs that other Christians don’t have. I think it’s great to see a Christian family live what they believe.
