David Graber was 19 when he hurriedly scribbled his farewell letter. "I would be overjoyed to experience the moment when this great treasure is unearthed and the world is confronted with the truth," he wrote.
While German soldiers combed the streets outside, Graber and his friend Nahum Grzywacz buried 10 metal boxes in the basement of an elementary school on Nowolipki Street in Warsaw's Jewish ghetto. It was Aug. 2, 1942.

The German people knew what was happening - their hands as dirty as the SS... Those Germans with a conscience - the few - tried to help the Jews and others. Those with small amounts of conscience used St. John’s Wort to push away the depression caused they their willingness to commit such evil. The rest of them were soul dead monsters who ran the trains and worked the machinery ... I’m stunned you would have any sympathy for them at all...
You really want to compare?
People suffer when their country is invaded by mass murderers. Many Poles suffered, many died.
But you really want to compare that to an actual plan put into effect to torture and murder every single Jewish man, woman, child, toddler, infant.
A plan that nearly succeeded all to much.

A must see is a documentary called “Prisoner of Paradise”, about Kurt Gerron, who was a famous German Cabaret performer before the Nazi rise to power. He was the one who the Nazis ordered to direct the film “Hitler Gives a City to the Jews” about Thereisienstadt, in order to try to fool the world that the Nazis were treated the Jews well.

Everybody else had it coming, deserved it, I guess?I have read that about 12 million Christians were murdered by the Nazis, and remember as s youth seeing a movie of prisoners entering the camps, and among them were men in priests garments.
I also saw an old film of people going to the death camps and among them was a nun, dressed in a habit that looked a lot like the habit from "The Flying Nun".
I never see that kinda stuff anymore, as if the repeated meme does not support conflicting storylines.
The Christians murdered by the Nazis had to do something to offend the Nazis.

In the same document, Himmler promised to eventually deport all Slavic Poles to Russia. In other statements, he mentioned the future killing fields in the Pripet Marshes where all were intended to die during the cultivation of the swamps. Plans for the mass transportation and creation of slave labor camps for up to 20 million Poles were made. According to Himmler, “All Poles will disappear from the world. [...] It is essential that the great German people should consider it as its major task to destroy all Poles.”[25]
Yes, the Jews were on the “fast track”, but it still was the Nazi goal to exterminate all Poles as well, but to just get more slave labor out of them before finishing the deed.
How unlucky for the Jews that they were target number one.
Lucky for the Poles, I guess, the Jews were ahead of them.
Nobody is more aware of what happened to the Jews than I am.
But frankly, one has to have been living under a rock to not know what happened. We’ve all seen the images over and over again, but I would never suggest that we stop reminding the world about what happened specifically to the Jews, that was not my intent at all.
But there are a lot of stories out there that the world is not aware of.
Of course after the war, the Poles traded one set of chains for another.
Much of the animosity against Bolshevic Jews was well founded.
Lenin and Trotsky hated Christians and committed the first genocides in 1921 to crush them using many Jewish henchmen.
They were particularly hard on the Amish and Mennonite immigrants from Germany where 100% of them were wiped out in areas of Ukraine.

Most Jewish Bolshevics changed their names - but Bronstein, Kagonovich, Apfelbaum,Uritsky, Wallackh, Beria,Sverdlov, and Sobelsohn killed far more than the Nazis.
I've learned something new, too. I did know that Gentile Poles and other Slavic people were treated terribly by the Nazis, but the second number below still surprised me:

I’ve never subscribed to that theory at all.
Stalin hated Jews as passionately as Hitler. Some suggest he was willing to let Hitler “take care of his Jewish problem” when the Nazis invaded the Soviet Union. If anything, Stalin used Jews, in the same manner that the Nazis used Jewish Kapos in the Ghettoes.

Not only that, the entire Jewish world — Poland was the captial of European Jewish culture — was wiped out. FOREVER.
Perhaps, you may sadly be right. Hard to imagine that could be the case, but I suppose in this age of Idiocracy anything is possible.
What I find even more disturbing, is if you go to forums about the Holocaust, a lot of the comments you see center around the ludicrous claims that the Israelis are doing the same thing to the Palestinians.
