As far as I’m concerned, he doesn’t need defending. However noncontextual the clip was, there was enough in what I heard to conclude overt racism and an air of ‘we are in power now’.....

Its nice that Sherrod was converted from her racism, but Gov’t admin positions are NOT voyages of self-discovery. She needs to follow the law, and she herself admits she did not.

It just proves once again that Gov’t apparatchiks being their greed, biases, and stupidity to work with them - why would anyone trust them with managing our money, health-care, jobs - as they do now??

The left will continue to pursue their taking point, but Sherrod has a big mouth and is almost certain to make more incendiary remarks.

Yup. Sherrod and the NAACP are about as racist as any racist can be. The NAACP is an un-American Marxist thug cult with tendons and fangs extending throughout the unconstitutional monstrous institutions of the government behemoth (federal, state and local), infesting our congress and right on into the White House! It should be shut down!! Obama is a Marxist puppet!! God bless Andrew Breightbart!

She may not be a racist, but she doesn't seem to mind calling others racist if their views differ from hers. This is ideological bigotry. big·ot·ry   /ˈbɪgətri/ [big-uh-tree] –noun, plural -ries. 1. stubborn and complete intolerance of any creed, belief, or opinion that differs from one's own. 2. the actions, beliefs, prejudices, etc., of a bigot.

It’s Obama’s problem, not mine. It was the government that fired her.

Breitbart was on CNN very early on in the whole mess CLEARLY telling the truth about the excerpt and the point of the whole posting.

Then, later in the day, CNN boldly ignored every word he said and repeated the Media Matters talking points to their audience, and using an accusing tone while doing it.

The Concubine Marxist Media is just as Rush says: The Ministry of Truthiness....

He needs no defense, he made his point perfectly.

The well played fiasco afterward is how they managed to change the topic. They are good, I'll give them that.

It's the "well meaning" conservatives kissing up that makes me scratch my head

As Breitbart said.. this case is NOT about this women..
It about the people she was speaking TO.... i.e. NAACP...

The NAACP is as fully racist as the KKK ever was/is..

Breitbart did exactly what he set out and claimed to do, put the inherent racism of the NAACP and the American left on full display.

Breitbart is a genius.

I still cant make much sense of her story. In March she talks (and rolls her eyes) about a white farmer who she claims wasted lots of her time trying to demonstrate his superiority to her but now claims they are great friends. I cant imagine talking about a friend that way. She says the KKK murdered her father but CNN says the shooter was another farmer in a dispute over cows. (Sure he could have been a Klansman, but you’d think CNN would report that). If she knows who did it, as she appears to, why hasnt she continued to press for charges to be filed?

She says she doesnt understand what Breitbart was trying to do, but he has articulated it as clearly as the English language allows. I think I am done trying to figure her out.

Breitbart was right. Sherrod sounds like a racist, and she sounds like she is dumb as a rock, perfect for a glorified position in the Obamao thugocracy, especially if she never had a real job.

Let’s not forget that her comments were made at an NAACP event and the NAACP was one of the first to condemn her. They were present and they don’t even know what she said.

Nowadays calling someone a racist is like the boy who cried wolf.

The issue for me is not so much that Sherrod was a racist, it was the NAACP’s forum with racist overtones in of itself.

Sheila Jackson Lee's comments regarding the Tea party folks have removed the sheet and formed a party.

During the Sherrod speech at the NAACP gathering, you heard people in the background laughing, clapping, acknowledging her comments EVEN BEFORE she reached the portion of her comments that dealt with overcoming her racist feelings.

So, it was the racist forum in my opinion that should be in question....it's all been lost in the tit for tat going on’s.

Her conversion, the moment she saw the light, comes in the second video which Breitbart posted together with the first. So he is being fair. In any case, he didn’t post this to get her fired, but to point out the reaction of the crowd. Her eventual point may have been that race ought not to be the issue, but they were reacting favorably to her earlier bad behavior. That was the point of the video, and NAACP has acknowledged that that reaction was embarrassing.

Breitbart did not fire the lady.

I don't know how high her firing went up the ladder, but if they would have done a little investigating first, Breitbart’s story would have been quickly discredited and forgotten, nobody would be talking about it at all today.

Breitbart didn’t do anything wrong. Sherrod’s full comments were in his clip and they were in context.

What we have here is a racist organization (NAACP), a racist Administration, a racist DOJ and a whole group of Socialists, white and black racist activists that support all of the above.

They are moving their marxist agendas by race baiting and calling ANYONE that disagrees with them racist. It is a cold dish that they serve.

The NAACP has totally discredited themselves and will regret the day that they took their organization down the path they have chosen.

Obama showed his true racist colors when he attacked the police and tried to tie the legitimate arrest of a “black activist” to racism. Obama’s choice of black activist Holder to the DOJ was another blatant act of racism. The black panther incident has brought light to the motivations and activities behind the Obama/Holder Dept. of Justice.

It has become more obvious that the left wing media uses “racism” to discredit anyone that speaks against the Obama Administration...they also used the tactic to get Obama elected.

Who are the true racist here? I think it is pretty obvious. I think Obama is destroying years of positive race relations in this country with his actions and it isn’t an accident...it is by design.

Are there racists in this country? Sure...and, it is pretty clear, they aren’t all white...contrary to conventional propaganda, a black racist is just as ugly as a white one.

As I and many others concluded early on in this little drama, Andrew Breitbart did a service for the American people. He exposed the NAACP as the racist organization is has been for some time and as a corollary the film clip exposed Shirley Sherrod as the type of bigoted person (with Marxist sympathies) the supposedly 'post-racial' Obama administration considers qualified for leadership roles in federal agencies.

It probably won't be a big story for long because the left's attempt to make Andy Breitbart the big villain has flopped. Any attempt (mostly by the uninformed but vocal Shirley Sherrod) to smear Fox News or Glenn Beck has failed, big-time. The final result is that the Obama administration has been bruised by overplaying the 'racism card' on a moments notice whenever his policies and competence are questioned. Obama's 'post-racial' pose has been exposed as a sham and the NAACP attempt to smear the Tea Party movement as 'racist' has also failed and (metaphorically) blown up in their face. Again, despite some of the criticism Andy Breitbart has taken, I still believe he accomplished his purpose - and more. Using a baseball idiom, Andy Nreithbart hit a home run.
