The big story was the way the NAACP cheered when they heard how a white farmer might get the shaft. That’s the big story all along as I understand it:
The NAACP: Becoming Mel Gibson, Applauding Shirley Sherrod

Rush is pointing that out exactly while I’m typing.
I admit I took the report at face value, but it wasn’t up to me to decide whether to give her the boot. Hah! I hereby formally apologize to Shirley Sherrod for the brief misunderstanding, partly due to the fact that I can’t load youtubes personally from home.
Now, I don’t know what excuse the White House has. Did it interfere with a party, banquet, sporting event, or fundraiser? I do want to know.
I called the local newspaper’s SoundOff this morning and that’s exactly what I said - it wasn’t so much her comments as the fact that the NAACP laughed and applauded her comments.....that’s what the most offensive....
That's not even the half of it. You've got to appreciate the full weight of this incident within the context of all the other race disasters emanating from the Obama White House.
The Sherrod embarrassment broke right on the heels of the NAACP's resolution condemning the Tea Party for having "racists on its periphery".
Breitbart couldn't have timed the release of the Sherrod video better.
It drives home the point that those who've accused the Tea Party are themselves documented racists, while no one's found a single video or photograph documenting racism within the Tea Party.
And, it didn't even start there. Even earlier, Michelle Obama spoke at the NAACP's national gathering on the eve of their vote on the racism resolution. Before that, you had Malik Shabazz of the New Black Panther Party making the most overtly racist statements recorded in a very long time. And THAT, on the heels of Eric Holder's dismissal of the the Black Panther voter intimidation case.
This entire series of events has been one disaster after another for Obama, and he's clearly helpless to do anything about it.
