Muslims ‘Prepare’ For Pope Visit To UK

Muslims ‘Prepare’ For Pope Visit To UK July 20, 2010 Greg Burke The controversy surrounding Pope Benedict’s September trip to the United Kingdom has kicked up a bit after an Islamic website invited Muslims to “tell the pope just what they think of him after his insults against the Prophet Muhammad.”

The Islamic Standard welcomed the change of venue for an event on the last day of the pontiff’s visit, Sept. 19, from Coventry to Birmingham.

Birmingham, the second-largest city in England after London, is about 15 percent Muslim, and the website said it was a good opportunity for Muslims to confront “disbelievers” and to “tell the pope in no uncertain terms what Muslims think of his evil slanders against the last Prophet of God and his message.”

The Islamic Standard also referred to the Catholic Church as the “sodomite child-molesting Church of Rome.”

Pope Benedict angered Muslims on a 2006 trip to Regensburg, Germany, in which during a long, academic discourse he quoted a Byzantine emperor who said, “Show me just what Muhammad brought that was new and there you will find things only evil and inhuman, such as his command to spread by the sword the faith he preached.”

"And these Muzzies get worked up over the smallest things, but THEY are supposedly tough and spiritual? Wimps."

That's the difference between a god who demands respect and submission through intimidation and one who seeks a loving, personal relationship with each individual.

There's a HUGE difference in trying to please a vindictive god for what we can earn for ourselves...IF we can catch him in a good mood... and seeking to honor God with our lives because His deserves it.

Even IF Allah were real, his lame approach to playing god would pale in comparison to the One True God.

"If the Pope got hurt by Muzzies, there would be genocide in the streets against them."

And the Pravda Mainstream Media, who hate truth and personal freedom every bit a much as Islam does, would blame it all on the Christians.

Really? So are you saying we should look the other way when a mega-church minister has another scandal? Where is your condemnation? When statistics prove protestant ministers are more likely of sexual misconduct, where is your condemnation?

Hypocrite.

.
Not so — the news will spread like wildfire that the Pope got hurt by a few radical Muslims but that the overwhelming majority is still peaceful.

Of course, the ‘peaceful Muslims’ will not say a word to express their condemnation, which makes me wonder how we know if there are any peaceful Muslims in this world.

Typical "Everybody molests children" FRoman Catholic response.

Hypocrite? I'm not the one condemning Islam for child molestation when it is so pervasive in my church...

"Few people listen and believe the MSM anymore."

Still way too many.

I'm surrounded by people who are certain they're well informed because they listen to multiple sources, but all their sources (CNN, MSNBC, NBC, CBS ABC, etc) are saying the same thing.

I can mouth their views along with them because I hear the same talking points they gobble up, yet they think they've come to the conclusions themselves.

Many important events and issues I bring up to them they know nothing about, because they still let the MSM tell them what's important and how they should feel about it.

The MSM may be dying, but it isn't dead by a long shot.

And don't be surprised if one of the crack pot schemes to tighten liberals death grip on personal liberty rushed through as another "we can't afford NOT to do this" measure is the propping up of the New York Times and other loyal liberal propaganda outlets with taxpayer money.

It difficult to discern as such since it is practiced so often and kept secret by those in power...

It's not kept secret at all. They do it right out in the open.

I can't imagine a picture like this being taken even in that noxious hive of pederasty we call the American Education system. Which is saying a lot.

You're right...it IS difficult to discern what Christian doctrine teaches, without any effort to learn about it.

That doesn't stop people from thinking they know all about and making blanket statements about it based on the bad behavior of a relative few, though, does it?

I believe that's pretty much the text book definition of bigotry.

Wait, what?

Your off-hand remark was about child abuse in the Roman Catholic Church? Not - for instance - child abuse in the American education system, or in Islam, or in one of the cousin-marrying Bible cults within CONUS borders?

You seem to be a lapdog for the MSM, reinforcing their prejudices with your own.

Well. time for you to eat some statistics. According to the AAUW 2000/Shakeshaft Secondary Analysis 2003, approximately 6.7% of American students have reported contact-based "Educator Sexual Misconduct".

That figure is from section 3.2 of the Education Department study, "Educator Sexual Misconduct.", and is one of the lower reported percentages.

An abuse incidence of 1 in 14 is an extraordinary figure even for an organisation that is wholly predicated on contact with children. And what reaction do we have from the MSM?

(Crickets)

But even your leftist education system doesn't take photos of itself glorifying abuse. The gold medal for that goes to Islam. Bring on the child brides!

So glad you could catch up with the conversation. Welcome back! ;-)

I've never denied that child sex abuse occurs in other institutions however I'm also not the one throwing stones while living in a glass house, i.e. post #9.
