LOL - I just found out it REALLY wasn’t a very good idea to use that graphic for zoomed wallpaper. It took my CPU usage to 100% right away, and I could only watch the temps climb while I waited for the screen to get rid of it. (Duh!)

It doesn’t. Either your machine has been hacked by dweebs, or, if you have ever visited another site with the peace-sign favicon, you might have a glitch of the sort that, in my case, attached FreeRepublic’s white-star between red and blue favicon to one webpage I use on my university’s server (while all others still show the university’s favicon based on our mascot).

This was covered about a week ago on another thread. You have gone on a web site that uses the peace sign. Simply close out FR and then open it up again and you should see the familiar star.
