I’m a big fan of DiCaprio’s acting and wanted to see this movie in a theater. However, I’ll just wait to rent it from a Redbox in a few months. I’ve had it directly funding the political terrorism from the left. I haven’t stepped inside a theater since Star Trek came out last year ... before that was Casino Royale. Hell, I even got the Star Trek tickets for free (preview pass for my wife and I)!!! Seriously, a 4 month wait isn’t that bad (though that might be difficult in the case of the Trek sequel :-) ).

I’ll just redistribute my wealth elsewhere in the meantime.

I'm not a fan. I thought The Aviator was entertaining enough, and I liked , but I really thought he gave a great performance in Gilbert Grape. I don't care what some performer's political views are - couldn't care less - and I'm not offended if they disagree with me. If I like their work, I'll pay to see them; if not, I won't.

I saw the movie last night. It was okay. I liked it. I didn’t really see or pay attention to any anti-conservative “message” in the movie.

But yes, Leonardo is overrated. Just about any actor off the street could have done a better job.

I agree, I thoroughly enjoyed the movie as well. I also thought the director’s take on the new Batman movies had a very conservative slant. As for the actors, that evidently is another story.

HAHAHAHA :-) ... to be honest, a “free movie” entitlement makes as much sense as any of the other out there :-).

I’m too fussy about audio/video quality when it comes to movies heavy on special effects :-). Most of the stuff I’ve seen from torrents is more of an eyesore and can ruin otherwise good movies. Screeners are a whole different story though :-).

I have patience ... I just get into a frame of mind that a movie’s release date is about 4-6 months after it hits the theater :-). I’ve just had it with paying to see someone who, when not acting, is out there trashing my political and/or religious beliefs. I seriously cannot wait for the day where they can simply generate the actors they need for films via CGI (and I assure you it is coming soon ... pun intended).

My $20 visit to the theater with my wife or friends won’t make a lick of difference in the long run, but at least I know they won’t be getting it directly from me.

Do not put dicaprio n the same sentence as Farrell. Leo can act and he’s very good at it. Farrell is a one trick pony and, in my opinion, just not funny.

I haven't gone to a movie theater since the second Superman movie came out in the early 80s. I'll watch them at my house when they come around a few months after they're in the theater.
