Obama’s Second Act: If he wins another term, he’ll only get worse.
NRO ^ | Krauthammer

In the political marketplace, there’s now a run on Obama shares. The Left is disappointed with the president. Independents are abandoning him in droves. And the Right is already dancing on his political grave, salivating about November, when, his own press secretary admitted Sunday, Democrats might lose the House.

I have a warning for Republicans: Don’t underestimate Barack Obama.

Consider what he has already achieved. Obamacare alone makes his presidency historic. It has irrevocably changed one-sixth of the economy, put the country inexorably on the road to national health care, and, as acknowledged by Senate Finance Committee chairman Max Baucus but few others, begun one of the most massive wealth redistributions in U.S. history.

More states need to follow ARizona’s law of April 2010 that will require, heretofore, any presidential candidate to provide proof of U.S. birth. They should add that all acedemic records be provided. -

It would only take a handful of the right states to reinforce this law to keep “the WON” off the ballet altogether.

This would be the simplest and surest way to prevent the disaster of a second term. (Maybe even spur the release of the truth about his eligibility in the first place. If proven to be illegal - all that he has done in office would be rendered null and void - and we could start putting our country back together. And with so many Americans finally awake and new 'real people' running for office - we'd have a very good chance of surviving these traitors now in power.)

Unless he’s got the election-process rigged.

How do you think he won the first time?

"This man is evil and he is dangerous."

I agree, in the truest sense of those words. People often exaggerate when they refer to someone as "evil", but it's no exaggeration when referring to the Obammunist. Same goes for dangerous.

Don’t count on it. I heard one pundit suggest that after the house goes Republican in November, Obama will move to the middle and then run again on that. Obama lies to suit his current goal. People have short memories. It could work. I wish I had more faith in my fellow Americans, but I don’t.

Look for more who do not want to see any of the NBP to be blocking polling places to be let’s just say, “pack some heat” so as to send a message to any NBP trying to do some funny business.

I think the 1994 Republican victory helped Clinton get re-elected in 1996. He was smart enough to claim Republican ideas and wins as his own. If you remember, he was a pathological liar like our current president is.

He will win a second term. And probably a third and fourth.

I see your point. However, wasn’t it a lone republican that moved obamacare out of committee?

after this fall’s bloodletting I think he is going to find Democrat members of Congress not nearly so eager to take tough votes for a lame-duck Socialist president

Unless the economy gets much worse, he’s a shoo-in with no electable Republicans at the forefront now (Huck and Mitt couldn’t even win in a FReepers only election).

If the banks and media force Romney as the alternative, Obama will win again.

I need to run as state senator or rep on a platform of secession. Might could win.

A whole lot smarter than Red Barry. He knew how to move to the center, or appear to. Red Barry would never do that. He's a lefty through and through.

I’m not sure.

Even if it was, if you can’t see the futility of wasting your energy bashing the GOP when the Democrats are SOLELY RESPONSIBLE FOR THIS CATASTROPHE, I can’t help you. Obamacare, the stimulus, and “financial reform” were all passed on party line votes. You can bash Scott Brown all you want, but as much as I hate his moderate vote, it’s a million times better than what the Swimmer would have done in that seat. Or would you prefer that Coakley had gotten the seat?

Seriously, these commies are DESTROYING OUR COUNTRY!

Can’t we focus getting them out instead of trying to show how much we can bash Republicans who don’t measure up to our level of ideological purity? Again, the time to settle those GOP scores is in the primaries, like what happened in Utah. I’m all for that.

The sad truth is the Obama’s best shot of getting re-elected and keeping the prohibitive Democratic majorities that brought us to the edge of the precipice are for voters like you to stay home or voting third party because you “hate the Republicans too”.

Please wake up, your country is in jeopardy.
