Politics makes for strange bedfellows. None stranger than conservative radio legend Rush Limbaugh and politically liberal tech visionary Steve Jobs.
Limbaugh launched a passionate defense of Apple and its iPhone 4 on his syndicated radio program Thursday, saying he "had no reception problems" with the one he recently purchased.

When it comes to money and contracts, lies are not necessarily the same as other lies.
Look, Rush is mostly right, and that’s great. I always defend him against the kind of fag that puts him down on here.
My point is just there’s no need to be naive. Do you think he actually uses that PC backup service as he says? No! It’s an ad. And that’s pretty much OK. Ads are what they are.
Of course he buys the products - the cost of a few products would be negligible compared to the good press they get!
OK, Sorry... but it WAS required up to only a few years ago... because it was considered "the public air waves," and under this administration could just as easily be required again. Programing logs were required to be kept and were detailed down to what songs were played (Payola scandals, remember?) and what advertisements were played (Tobacco and liquor limitations?) to limits on the amount of airtime allowed for advertising to content... I had a friend who was a disk jockey and he had to write down what records he played on the log... and what advertisers he pushed.
