Terrific, just what that lunatic needs - an endless supply of wealth to fund his army. It's Fidel Castro with means. Can you imagine?

But who wants to bring more drilling rigs into Venezuela, when Hugo will simply confiscate them?

I’ll bet we have more oil reserves than we have been led to believe too. Shuuuuush. Don’t tell.

Chavez with an income stream? Not good.

Since Hugo nationalized the oil biz, production has fallen every year.

Because Hugo has nationalized the oil biz, nobody is going to help him get it out of the ground. (maybee the chinese, but their cut will be bigger than the capitalist’s cut was)

The oil will stay underground until Hugo is underground.

Much of the reserve is hard to extract and beyond Hugo’s means.

“Time for a US friendly gov’t in Venezuela.”

We could use a U.S. friendly government in the U.S. first.
