Megyn is my heroine...

She became mine after I saw her on BOR and she talked him down. Didn't give an inch.

I predicted about 6 months ago on FR that Megyn was going straight up in the Fox line-up , and I think she has, and will be even more so in the near future. It’s those fire-breathing nostrils that open up when she won’t let her interviewee get away with the usual BS.

In the beginning of the interview, Powers said that it was not voter intimidation because people were still going inside to vote. Later on, Powers said that she was not disputing that voter intimidation took place. Truth means nothing to liberals. They weave a web based purely on emotion, and when strands of the web are removed, they change the position of the remaining strands so that their emotions will remain ‘valid’. Liberals will put forth any premise - no matter how outrageously false or irrelevant - in order to validate the emotional basis of their position.

Kelly is a good listener. Kirsten looks for a way out and gets pwned. All liberals fall in that trap. They believe the crap they spew even if it contradicts itself. They can argue a talking point but are incapable of substance or logic. They just keep believing nothing.

I caught that too. Those Demoncrats spew lies so fast they have no idea what they have said.

Powers back-pedaled time after time. First she said what happened in Philly was no bog deal, people were voting, what’s the big deal? Well, Megyn straightened her out on THAT!!!

Time is money on T. They only have x amount of minutes to present the whole segment. When you let lefties ramble, they just run out the clock.

This is so great, I hope Fox runs this again. Megyn is awesome I love how she kept it on topic and did not let Powers off the hook.

I think FOX is putting the picture together one at a time, inning by inning. Megan has taken this facet. Beck another, the Special on the Mansion Murders ties it into the Ayres and Wright (Hannity has covered)

BTW did you hear the caller on Rush today tying Mansion murders to BLack panters adgenda. Rush need to be informed, he wasn’t

WOnder who FOX’ll use as the closer?

I wonder if Megyn agreed that voter intimidation existed in the Bush era because she didn’t want to allow Powers to change the subject. To refute it would be to spend remaining air time and possibly end the segment with Powers tarring Bush w/o either of them able to ‘prove’ it in the allotted time without documentation. So perhaps it is a debate tactic - maybe that was Powers’ ‘exit strategy’ and Megyn ‘took it away’ from her in a way that must have shocked Powers. I think Powers hoped to ‘hit a nerve’ and cause Megyn to become defensive and therefore seem to give weight to the implied accusation that Megyn was ‘ok’ with that sort of thing when ‘Bush did it’ It’s such a weak defense anyway; Mom always refuted this silly finger pointing technique with ‘so does that mean if Jimmy jumps off a bridge, you’d jump off a bridge too?’ Maybe the only preparation Powers had was false claims against the Bush administration (replete with names, dates, jurisdictions) because the left does throw chaf into the wind in order to obscure the truth. Better for Megyn to allow herself to be seen ‘failing to defend Bush’ in order to be correct exposing Obama. If Megyn agrees with Powers up front, they kind of have to move on to the next point as there is nothing more to discuss unless Powers really wants to shriek ‘well if Bush got to do it, then Obama gets to do it too!’

Also -when Gore lost, the left ‘lost it’ and claimed/shrieked/accused everyone of everything. The lefties may have filed voter intimidation lawsuits among the many other types of baseless suits by the boatload to pad their lawsuit bin against Repub accusations of voter fraud etc. Perhaps rather than wasting time examining veracity of possible lawsuits - Megyn basically said ‘ok - you can have that point because it doesn’t matter since we are talking about the current administrations current activities.’ She can always go back and do an investigative piece but perhaps it’s best to ‘stay on target’ with the current administration. Compare the sight of both women arguing over what Bush did or did not do to the sight of one woman frantically trying to point to Bush while the other one stays with the current administration whom many viewers are beginning to question for the first time. *oh if only people could have acknowledged the truth from the start we wouldn’t have to go through this*

I wonder if formal part of the lefties ‘attack Bush’ when interviewed by a hard hitting journalist is intended to portray the journalist as biased because any reasonable defense (uh...Bush has been out of office for awhile now) is then used to portray them as ‘Bush Apologists’. There is no acknowledged stigma on the MSM airwaves against journalists who suffer from BDS -it’s still portrayed as ‘fairness’.

I didn’t either, especially because she missed the opportunity to cross-question her on having said earlier that there was no intimidation and then saying that there was.

And did Megyn Kelly lie about asking Mr. Adams about the report on the Bush Administration? I don't recall that from the interview.

It’s 3:00am here on the left coast. I did not see the video but really enjoyed reading the many good, insightful, clever FReeper posts. Just out of morbid curiosity, I went over to Democratic Underground just too look at the wreckage. Oddly enough...and I do mean ‘oddly’....the swamp dwellers there appear to have cribbed off of your comments. The swamp DU’ers there say:
A) Powers triumphed easily over Megyn (Megyn was ‘pwned’)
B) Megyn resorted to shouting over reason and that this is a well known repub tactic
C)Powers defeated Megyns emotionalism with irrefutable facts

Yes - you read that right. If imitation is indeed the highest form of flattery then consider yourself flattered; without a conceivable defense, it seems that DU’ers go to repub sights like this one and simply paraphrase your comments and pass them off as Dem ‘analysis’. I’d read posts on FR before that said that Dems copy FR comment content but I never realized just what that meant.

You mean he should suspend Kirsten or Megyn?

Kirsten, of course. Although, I'd rather have had Kelly block Kirsten's mic. The argument was not a pretty one. And Kelly missed calling Kirsten on her obvious(to me) contradiction about whether the actions of the NBP constituted intimidation. First, Kirsten said no intimidation. Later she said it was intimidation but the injunction was enough punishment, so there was nothing more that should have been done.

Interesting that I heard Alan Colmes using some of the same arguments on O'Reilly that evening. Don't Murdoch and Roger Ailes realize that those of us who watch FNC a lot pick up on these repetitions? I think that some of their liberal "stars", like Colmes and Powers, just watch each other and never research the original event?

I think that is why Kelly was so mad -- the fact that the injunctions were won and then rolled back and abandoned. It's a legal thing.

It was a Special on FOX New. You might be able to HULU it.

In one of the girls testamony she stated the reason for the urders was to blame it on the blacks and start the racial wars.

Oh, you were referring to the Charles Manson murders of Sharon Tate & the LaBiancos?

Yes, Manson did admit he wanted to start a race war and believed the Beatles’ song “Helter Skelter” was a message to him to start the war.

I was a 18y/o kid who had just eloped to Hollywood with the girl-next-door and lived ~ 10 minutes from the Sharon Tate house. It was quite the news when it happened - even for LA. Quite a time & place to be for a couple of 18 y/o kids from Ohio.
