"So to the Palin family in general and to Sarah Palin in particular, please accept my regrets and forgive my youthful indiscretion," Johnston says in the statement. "I hope one day to restore your trust."

Agreed, but really, they are at no more risk from him now than they were 3 or 6 months ago.
I’m sure Sarah, Todd, and Bristol have him figured out.
Its hard to admit when you are wrong. Hopefully this makes things better for him and his son.
But,as a Christian, Sarah most certainly will accept his apology. Its her way, regardless of the hard hearts on here.
If we don’t forgive others, then God won’t forgive us. Its as simple as that.
Well, now that his kid's grandma, who could have been his mother-in-law, is a multi-millionaire...
they already say that ... she’ll accept his apology because that’s what decent people do
Any man can be a father---not every man can be a Dad.
At least he didn't wear a white hood and burn a cross on her lawn.
Interesting point!
Didn't he found a chapter of the Sarah Palin Hate Club?
How is that different from what Byrd did by founding a chapter of the KKK?
Bill Clinton said Byrd's behavior was excusable, because he had to get elected. LOL!
Hmmmm.
Byrd defended the Klan in his 1958 U.S. Senate campaign when he was 41 years old.

Can’t make it on his own?
Hear Hear!
To not forgive is like you drinking poison expecting the other one to die.
I applaud Levi’s asking and I expect the whole Palin family will forgive him. It’s the right thing to do.

Is Palin is starting to reveal "Who" were behind the false lawsuits & "How" they did it? Yes!
No, he saw the future.
And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive them that trespass against us.
Ah, yes......all the good, forgiving Christians are out in force on this thread, I see. I’ll bet most of them even put on a good show and went to church on 4th of July Sunday.
LOL
Just wait, he chose to make himself a tool of the left. If you trust that, so be it.
He can do a lot more damage. Don’t underestimate the influences he has aligned with.
Apologies mean nothing to them. Its lipspeak.
I’m no longer a political supporter of Palin, but I do not think she should let Levi off the hook simply because he said he was sorry. It’s going to take some time and some proof that he really has changed. And I don’t think God would judge her harshly for adopting that game plan.
The list is not in alphabetical order, but we’ll soon know if he tell either of us.
Why is nobody questioning why this is public in People magazine?
That is a red flag right there.
Seems a really repentent Levi wouldn’t need public attention to make amends.
My point is that they won’t trust him with more than they have to. Same as 3-6 months ago.
They are stuck with him no matter how he chooses to live his life.
Hopefully, he decides to learn, and become a better person.
I have no dog in this fight, but I know that kids need a good Dad, and if there is any chance he can become one, it’s worth the effort.
Yeah, he hasn’t been a Dad since the kids birth, in fact he has been a rotten excuse of a person. Perhaps he could wait awhile at arms length until 2013.
