While calling for a boycott of the Grand Canyon State, Peggy West, member of the Democrat Executive Committee of Milwaukee, decided the whole Arizona anti-illegal immigration thingy is a bad idea since Arizona isn't close to Mexico....

This is the worst kind of “leadership:” rooted in ignorance, in thrall to emotion. It’s typical of the femme-liberal ethos.

There must be at least a dozen threads on this subject - but I’ll say it again:

If all illegal immigrants were this ignorant - they would be in Chile instead of Chattanooga!!!!!

These are the people who are in Washington passing laws they haven't read, and they don't know what's in them.

This was puzzling to me, but now I'm begginning to understand. They are ignorant. They are stupid. It's questionable that they can even read.

But for a really chilling thought: Just think what the people who elect them must be like...!

Democrats keep giving us such jewels. Arizona is removed from the border. The United States planted a flag on Mars. Guam could tip over. There are 57 states. Al Gore (Algore) asking who the busts of our Founding Fathers are at Monticello before the Inauguration.

I would not be surprised, if we heard her remarks in context, that she was speaking of WI, not AZ. Ears would have a difficult time distinguishing “the State” from “this State.”

"This has been posted numerous times already...it’s old news."

This will never get old, Frank. Thousands of years from now, honest people will be astonished that the Americans allowed themselves to be governed by people of the lowest possible quality, and this will still be cited as an example. We're still talking about the creeps whom the Romans allowed to govern them.

http://www.abc15.com/dpp/news/state/milwaukee-official%3A-arizona-not-near-the-border

Arizona Sen. Jon Kyl has also written a letter to West. It says, “You will be interested to learn that Arizona does indeed share a border with Mexico. I have enclosed a map for your convenience.”

The map is a full picture of the United States with Arizona highlighted and an arrow pointing to it.

“I hope you will take the time to actually read the Arizona law before formulating an opinion about it,” Kyl wrote, “and become familiar with our country’s geography and the challenges that our border states face.”
