President Obama came into office as the heir to a great foreign policy legacy enjoyed by every recent U.S. president. Why? Because the United States stands on top of the power ladder, not necessarily as the dominant power, but certainly as the leading one. As such we are the sole nation capable of exercising global leadership on a whole range of international issues from security, trade, and climate to counterterrorism. We also benefit from the fact that most countries distrust the United States far less than they distrust one another, so we uniquely have the power to build coalitions. As a result, most of the world still looks to Washington for help in their region and protection against potential regional threats. Click here to find out more!
Yet, the Iraq war lingers; Afghanistan continues to be immersed in an endless cycle of tribalism, corruption, and Islamist resurgence; Guantánamo remains open; Iran sees how North Korea toys with Obama and continues its programs to develop nuclear weapons and missiles; Cuba spurns America's offers of a greater opening; and the Palestinians and Israelis find that it is U.S. policy positions that defer serious negotiations, the direct opposite of what the Obama administration hoped for.
The reviews of Obama's performance have been disappointing. He has seemed uncomfortable in the role of leading other nations, and often seems to suggest there is nothing special about America's role in the world. The global community was puzzled over the pictures of Obama bowing to some of the world's leaders and surprised by his gratuitous criticisms of and apologies for America's foreign policy under the previous administration of George W. Bush.

He is NOT beleaguered.
He has trapped the American people in death-dance
created by Soros, al Qadeda, the US Congress and the DNC
who are partnered against the American people and the
US Constitution.
“The president is well-intentioned...”
Stopped reading right there. I don’t know why these journalists, pundits, and editorial writing weasels have to start out every justifiable criticism of the incompetent, finger-pointing a$$ clown with some assertion of decncy or “brilliance”. He is not intelligent. He is not well-intentioned, and most importantly, he is not a leader.
I wonder when MZ peeled the “O” off his bumper.
C’mon guys, Oprah says he’s trying his best so lay off the ZERO!
right there with you on the “brilliance” Common Sense
was going to post the exact same thing until I read you did already
How can anybody know he is “billiant” when he hasn’t shown it in office and he wasn’t vetted to show any proof of it from his experience beforehand?
What happens next I wonder.
Then the world is seeing very clearly now....
I think we have to be concerned that Obama does not literally break down and do some really stupid things. I have never felt him to be a powerful person, rather a weakling inside. All this criticism is not something he has ever had to deal with I am thinking. As it grows, especially from his own side, I am worried at the possibilities from this weak man.
Waiting for 2012 - when we will all be able to sing:
*I Can See Clearly Now - the Reign Has Gone*
Ditto (we hope)
When your best, just ain’t good enough, and Oprah ought to know. I would be interested in hearing from her, a much more vetted “leader”. Number one, she may have an agenda, but I’m betting she would have the sense, and ability to carry that agenda out without pissing off half of America and the rest of the world.
I’d say that was a pretty good assessment...he’s the destroyer.

That is a definite assumption on Zuckerman’s part based on what? I see no evidence for it. Obama continually bashes America while encouraging dictators & terrorists. Obama acts as if he would rather be the president of any other country in the world. His economic policies are destructive rather that beneficial, yet he continues to move forward, destroying more jobs. But through it all we are supposed to believe that Obama "wishes to do good"? Zuckerman needs to get a brain transplant. The one he has is defective.
Obama has been cosseted and petted and told he is special his whole worthless life. Got to be hard for him to see his own politically chew on him now.
Bill O’Reilly also still thinks he is well-intentioned and therefore can’t figure out why he does this or doesn’t do that. It all makes since when you understand the intention is to destroy capitalism. O must laugh himself silly watching people trying to figure out his thought process.
