Politics: The Democratic Senate candidate from South Carolina is not a GOP dirty trick but an appropriate representative of a party detached from reality. An incoherent and off-the-wall empty suit, he is a perfect fit.
Late Thursday night, the South Carolina Democratic Party's Executive Committee rejected a protest of the June 8 primary for U.S. Senate, in which Alvin Greene, who has a felony arrest for showing porn to college girls, defeated Vic Rawl, a former state representative and judge.
Greene has been declared the party's legitimate nominee, much to the chagrin of MSNBC's Chris Matthews, whose leg no longer tingles when President Obama speaks, and others.
Matthews asked guests: "Do you think this has the look of a dirty trick — sort of a Watergate number?"
After all, how could a Democratic electorate that put a community organizer in the White House make such a mistake?

“Obama senior adviser David Axelrod said Greene was not a “legitimate” candidate and called his victory “a mysterious deal.”
“Yes, how could a young African-American man with strange origins, suspicious funding, shady associations, no experience, no qualifications, and no demonstrable work history come out of nowhere and win an election?”
Democrats look with feigned embarrassment at how such a sad joke could become their candidate for the U.S. Senate. They should consider the ranks he would be joining.
Greene appears to be one of the smartest guys in the Dim Party. Of course, everything is relative.

I'm still not quite up to speed on this. Is it an matter of her age, or that the pictures are exceptionally nasty, or is it specifically illegal if she's a college student, but not illegal if she's a stripper, or what.

Everytime I see Alvin on video he makes me smile. Hey, dumb voters elected Obama too with no vetting, Democrats loved that.
I think that the incident occurred on campus when he had been barred, showing explicit images without consent, then demanding that the girl take him to her room. Understandably, her mother is out for blood.

He is everything the IDEAL Democrat voter should be. And they're furious about that fact.
It sounds like one of those things that would fit into the category of sexual harassment if it happened in a workplace or something like that, but I don’t really think it should be a criminal prosecution. Walking up to a random person on a street and flashing out a porno magazine is bad manners and a little odd but it shouldn’t be illegal, as long as the target is an adult and as long as that person isn’t harmed in any way. If he did it to a coworker though it would be a civil offense and grounds for firing for sexual harassment...but that would require Alvin Greene to have a job.
