Not politically expedient to extend unemployment benefits for MORE than 99 weeks.The bill being considered would NOT add weeks beyond the current 99 max. It would only move the eligibility dates for receiving the current set of tiers (4) to Nov 2010 for those who haven't completed 99 weeks. People who have exhausted their 99 weeks are done, at least for now.
