I’d like to see the same reaction by the fedgov that they had to AIG paying bonuses after receiving a bailout.
the executives should be fired, the money should be confiscated from accounts, and their salaries should be radically reduced

Our brave men and women in the US military need a bonus ...
not one of the bureaucrats of the federal monolith.
All bonuses to federal workers, including Congress, should be banned.
Then we need to address the unwieldy federal pay schedules with pay based on the city you work in.
Obamao has those federal, union employees covered.
Bonus for what? Government is a net loss, so they’re being awarded for what, most lost?
As many government employees there are, this is hardly surprising. I’d be more interested in how it was distributed.
There are probably several people at Goldman Sachs combined that received more money than this in bonuses.

While I too lament the huge amount these bureaucrats rake in, they cannot be separated from the thousands of Guard and Reserve full time employees that work as Federal employees. I was one for 13 years and really appreciated the ONE bonus I earned (and I do mean EARNED). I have also given out well-deserved bonuses.
The top levels are generously compensated, but, if you do a bit of research, the income of a typical mid-level federal employee, GS-5, GS-7, GS-9 is NOT out of line for the military technicians. In some locations, they simply cannot keep people, as they cannot afford to live there on that income (bases in the D.C area for example).
Find a way to separate military federal employees from the blood-suckers, I’m all for freezes on raises and bonuses!
Where I work, we only get a bonus if the company has positive cash flow.
Not so with the GS types.
Fire all the bas*ar*s! From the President on down. Then we can start over again.
The US paid nobody...We the People paid these bonuses...
What happens when the money runs out? All these dependents aren’t going to go quietly into the night when their freebies go away.
Why do government employees get bonuses for doing their job?
Oddly enough, that’s about how much money unions spent to get Obama and his Democrat minions elected in 2008. No connection. Just an interesting coincidence.
NO government employee should receive a freaking BONUS! Government does not MAKE MONEY!!
Although I would make exception for a whistle blower reward for those who expose waste and fraud and money is actually saved from their efforts!
Bonuses? Oh, you mean like the ones public employees in Greece were getting. ANd you can see where that got Greece!
They managed a $4,000,000,000,000 annual loss. I think that qualifies as failing upward.
