One suburb over from me is a mosque under construction. It’s a monster, gold domes, the whole shebang. Probably will seat (or kneel, rather) 2 or 3 thousand. It’s getting downright concerning up here. When you look at the map distribution of them, they appear evenly distributed and planned. E.g., why is there a mosque in Grand Falls Nfld? In Miramichi N.B.? In Yarmouth N.S.? These are ancient fishing and farming communities in the middle of nowhere. Creepy, really.
