Is South Carolina About to Pull an Arizona on Illegal Immigration? (Graham still pushes amnesty)
Fox ^ | 2010-06-10

(snip)

SEN. LINDSEY GRAHAM, R-S.C.: I think the best way to solve immigration is for the federal government to secure our borders and have national immigration policy. I understand the people of Arizona are being overrun. They are right on the boarder and this is spreading to places like South Carolina.

There is legislation in the state house, and my hope is to sit down with some Democrats and Republicans, and if not this year, next year come up with a comprehensive immigration plan that would make people feel like they are secure and immigration is no longer broken.

Would anyone there in Washington want to think about the American people for a change instead of what the illegals "feel" and if they are "accepted" or not. How about thinking of the people who pay the bills for a change.

You guys are NOT going to like what happens if you continue on this path.

Lindsay,

Sometimes it is “fruitful” to sit down and ask yourself; “what is a Republican and is that who I am?”

Stop mealy mouthing around, Lindsey, and just call it amnesty for all illegals.

And why would anyone feel "secure" and that "immigration is no longer broken"? This same deal was made, and the same promises made during the amnesty of 1986. All idiots like you will accomplish is to legalize 20 million or more, then put out the engraved invitations for millions more to enter the US illegally and wait for the next amnesty idiots like you would no doubt try to offer.

I hope SC does pass a law similar to Arizona's, and that the people of SC will hound Lindsey constantly and mercilessly until he shuts up about amnesty for good.

Seriously, why would you allow the termites already infesting your house to stay and just keep out the new ones?

“SEN. LINDSEY GRAHAM, R-S.C.: I think the best way to solve immigration is for the federal government to secure our borders and have national immigration policy.”

I think that’s what Napolitano used to say when she was governor of Az, and she used it to not enforce any of the bills attempted to pass by the state that would secure the border.

When she got into the federal government she does nothing. In fact she opposes the new law in Az.

if another state passes a similar law, it will change everything. Arizona can no longer be demonized as the sole evil state.

To The Honorable? Senator Lindsey Graham;

The above statement is misleading at the best, and outright lie at the worst.

This country does not have an immigration law problem, we have an immigration law ENFORCEMENT problem. We have a problem with people like you who refuse to make the Administration enforce the laws already on the books.

I can understand Obama not enforcing the law. He wants to create 15-20 million new Democrat voters. But YOU, strive to relegate the Repubs to minority status in perpetuity.

Pantywaists like you refuse to close the border. We reap the benefits. They include drug cartels, murderers, child rapists, and other criminals crossing our borders. That includes EVERY illegal. They are ALL criminals, the most "innocent" of them became a criminal the moment they crossed the border. Or maybe I misunderstand the meaning of the word "criminal". I thought a criminal was one who broke the law.

There is a runoff on June 22. If you have any relatives in the Greenville/Spartanburg area, make sure that they vote.
