HONOLULU (AP) -- President Barack Obama is urging the nation to celebrate Kamehameha (kah-MAY-hah-may-hah) Day along with Hawaii.
The nation's first Hawaii-born president signed a statement Thursday proclaiming June 11, 2010, Kamehameha Day in honor of "King Kamehameha the Great," who unified the Hawaiian Islands under one government.

He was a fine King of mass murder and mayhem and all cowered before his genocidal wrath . Bit by bit he destroyed all opposition , enslaving the regular kanaka of defeated Ali’i ,mus as todays muslims would like to do to the ‘infidels’.
All was well until he came up against 2 things : Typhoid fever and the Ka’ie’iewaho Channel , between Oahu and Kauai .Both stopped the mad King cold , every time .

Beaten by God and humbled Kamehameha finally relented , repented and a truce and treaty for Kauai was accepted .
Not a military defeat . Kamehameha’s offspring and namesakes were far kinder and enlightened than the original one , whom loved to sacrifice (live) victims to Ku , the God of war , and at his heiaus ( temples) to the shark god.
And for this gentleman , America is to join in celebration ?

I’m of Hawaiian ancestry, born and raised on the islands, and I wouldn’t celebrate Kamehameha Day even if I live in Honolulu.
