[history]
Former Hewlett-Packard Chief Executive Carly Fiorina will be the Republican Party nominee in the November race against Democratic incumbent U.S. Sen. Barbara Boxer.
Fiorina was the top vote-getter in Tuesday's primary election in a Republican field that included former Rep. Tom Campbell and conservative Assemblyman Chuck DeVore (R-Irvine). ..............."

It's the devil and the deep blue sea, mate. No marginally sane person wants Barbie Boxcars re-elected, and the only (choke, puke) 'electable' alternative is the broad who nearly ran HP into the ground. Mighty sorry she contracted/acquired cancer, wouldn't wish that on my worst enemy, but it's not exactly a resume enhancement, now is it?
Ain't we got fun, eh?

I just don’t know about this one. I guess Boxer needs to be defeated. But replacement by a RINO is not a big difference I guess.

Why not? She's had plenty of publicity. FR has plastered her picture
ad nauseam on article posts for well over a month...
Can you say, "face recognition" and "unintended consequences"?

I hope Sarah’s happy. She is partly to blame for this.

I see Devore went down in flames like hunter in 2008. Birds of a feather.... and all that but he was the “real conservative” in the race....
how's that working for him? Now since he didn't do the smart thing and withdraw earlier he has no say in the Carly campaign. By allowing his campaign to be shown as a 16% faction Carly can pretty much ignore him and tilt more to the middle for the general. If Devore would have been smart he would have withdrawn and taken some credit for the major win of Carly over Campbell.
Instead he failed and now everyone knows how bad he failed.

No wonder the state is in such crappy shape - many republicans can’t seem to recognize a conservative candidate from a RINO when they see one.

FR posting her photo has nothing to do with it. If you walked up to every person in CA and asked them what FR was you would MAYBE find one in 100 who knew...maybe.

Palin is in the drivers seat. She gained all kind of power tonight within the GOP party.

Carly can pretty much ignore him and tilt more to the middle for the general. And that is exactly what stupid RINOs like yourself deserve. Tilt to the middle, then govern like a Maine Senator. Shove your RINOs where the sin don't shine, toots.

Fantastic, we have a slate that looks more like an early 1990s Democrat slate than a 2010 Conservative slate.
Enjoy folks. I’ll have no part of it.
